We have had State Farm home and auto insurance for 26 1/2 years. We have made two claims in that…read moretime. The first time their response was acceptable. This year ,however, they dragged out their response. We needed our roof repaired after the tornado and hail damage. Not only is it now 6 months later and we had to hire someone to fight them to get a new appraisal. The mediator worked with them and they agreed to a certain amount for replacing the roof. Weeks later and still no check. We get an email saying they will only pay 1/3 of the agreed upon price. So, now we have to fight some more plus pay the person we hired. I'm furious! We will be canceling our State Farm policies and looking for insurance somewhere else! Look for any insurance company but State Farm. They want to take your premiums and cover nothing!
