Dr Patel and his staff were so very kind when I was in their office. I was in severe pain due to…read moreTMJ and instead of quickly telling me I needed sugery like every other dentist had he gave me a new look at it. He told me that it would take work and time, but if I wanted it to work he would help me. His entire staff was very friendly and fun. I am actually looking forward to working with them in the future. I highly reccomend them. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would!

Everything to sell, sell, sell and upsell. Care, not so much. Read below. They get lots of reviews…read moreon Google because they pester customers with review invites after every simple entry level appointments like cleaning and x-rays. (You just do not want to know what the post-entry level looks like. Search below for "crown" and "filling"). Or that whole sales pitch, from the first step, about the invisalign etc for tonnes of money. You can get excellent (plain mold, done by you without a problem) night teeth guards and retainers from reliable reputable online makers for order of magnitude of $100. Tactics akin to white rabbit "always in too much hurry to explain". Car dealers aggressive strategy. By someone who thinks very highly of himself, in complete contrast with the reality. Hushed or crushed employees, which you notice only after it starts repeating with every visit, or when you do not see someone any more. It felt like being only a life support system for a crown, or implant or whatever other expensive dental work. Plain mortal fillings are not liked here, and have not seen any kids around ever. Not much money in it. He wanted to leave a quarter inch gaping hole on the side of a tooth where previous one fell off, and I had to insist to have it covered!!! And then, you may think that it was a misunderstanding, because he behaves so guiltlessly even with biggest blunders and obvious sales tactics. But, when he then places a crown over a tooth where the sensitivity and aches have not been addressed, indicating an infection!!!!! That is downright dangerous, not just expensive. Your entire jaw may be at risk. Starting with infection spreading and root canal. You gamble a lot when you come here. Or assistant (with "20 years of experience") who does not even know how to control the saliva with suction tube, who refuses to put the X-ray protection bib on you even though it is hanging there (claiming that emissions are low, while not being aware that malfunction can always happen). Boasting with inability to learn even the basics in 20 years? What does it cost her to just put it when requested by CUSTOMER! That assistant then became a receptionist of equal quality, not giving any clear answers, driving you in circles. Who gave such directions? What a place. One better be very careful and not rushed, asking for clear and patient explanations. Have things in writing from them, with clear and specific descriptions, not generic. Since there is no e-mail, it has to be given right there in writing, instead of just being flashed in front of you, or told over the phone. In absence of information from the source, one has to do a lot of research or Google AI search and dialogues when they give you any descriptions (you need to find out about the options they omitted). I could have prevented all these problems just by not ever returning to the premises after the first exploratory visit. Should have learnt on other customers' experiences, instead of feeling it on my back. It is my health at stake, which is not to be played with it, Should have reacted to the very first alarm bells, instead of shrugging it off with "it happens to the best of us". It sure does happen to the worst of us, always, and at every step of the way. Get your answers before you sit in that chair, when you can still walk out. It is good to get the gut feel by feeler questions, such as asking how come they have one business name there, another with the phone number, and so on. Asking how come they have other location, and what is with it. Asking how come they have only online form to initiated appointments (still not make them), not a contact e-mail to communicate with patients in writing, with a track record. Then, by the answers, if any ifs and buts remaining, listen to your gut. Compare good to bad reviews. Your decision will be yours for life.

After years of debilitating headaches and many incorrect diagnosis I was finally correctly…read morediagnosed with TMJ. An oral surgeon referred me to Dr. Herre. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Herre's knowledge of TMJ. He also teaches other dentist how to treat this condition so I would consider him an expert. Dr. Herre made me a bite splint and at first, I will be honest, the expense was really hard to swallow. However, when you consider that the hour long follow up visits (all included) for weeks and weeks afterwards, it really makes the cost more understandable. Anyway, I have had my bite splint for 5 weeks now and the proof is in the pudding. I went from someone who spent probably 10 days a month in bed with migraines to being nearly headache free. Before I also had other symptoms like not being able to chew foods, ear pain, facial pain and all of it has disappeared. My husband is thrilled that I'm not tired all the time anymore. I cannot say how pleased I am with the results so far.

I have had the same Hygienist, Fern, for as long as I can remember, Louise has greeting me since I started going there and I appreciate the family atmosphere of the practice. Their staff is obviously loyal for a reason. They are a great bunch of people. My entire family sees the Herre's. Over the years I have gotten sealants, fillings and broken teeth removed on top of my regular visits and I have always felt at ease. I am never intimidated and as Dr. Scott will tell you, I never cried! It's a nice treat to go to what is usually a dreaded experience and actually sort of enjoy myself and feel cared for.
