We were first-time homebuyers who weren't sure we could even make it through the process, when we…read morefirst met with Patrick Runne. We were nervous before the meeting that any real estate agent would give us a hard sell on either (a) considering condominiums, or (b) looking outside the price range where we felt comfortable. My husband and I had even heard rumors that some buyers agents weren't interested in working with people whose budgets were modest. We shouldn't have worried. Instead of pushing us in any direction, Patrick took great care (and lots of time) during that first meeting to talk about the process, answer our questions, and get to know us. He assured us that he'd never try to get us to spend more than we could afford. He said he would never ask us to consider options that wouldn't make us happy. After a single weekend -- and a few open houses -- Patrick understood what we were looking for better than we could even articulate to ourselves. (For example, he realized, before we did, that we wanted a yard more than we wanted a second bathroom). Patrick held our hands through some tough decision-making, was always available, and never talked down to us. We closed on our first home a few days ago, entirely thanks to Patrick. He is a credit to his profession. Before I met Patrick, I wasn't even really sure what a "buyers' agent" really did...now I would never consider telling anyone to embark on this process without one. I will be recommending Patrick to everyone who will listen. I am so happy with the entire process.

A sudden divorce in my senior years had made living alone in a house with property in a semi-rural location too difficult for me to manage, so I made the decision to sell. Although 3rd on the 5 agent to vet list I was sent, I decided to interview Jill first based on my referrer's comment that I would like her. Wow, what an understatement! During my talk with Jill, it became quickly clear to me that here was a calm, straightforward, down-to-earth (my best compliment) , intelligent, thoughtful and very empathetic person, professional without attitude, knowledgeable and obviously very experienced yet with a fully hand-in-hand cooperative idea of the seller/seller's agent relationship. I hired her on the spot. Although I had had experience selling a relative's house prior, Jill walked me thru a much more involved and emotionally wrought several months with patience at my many texts, questions, and calls and with unsurpassed availability. She maintained a positive attitude throughout (this is simply who she is) and an exact knowledge of what I needed to do and, maybe more important, what I didn't need to do to get the house best fit for the sale I wanted. While she lived some distance from my home, she did the research necessary for my area, was accurate in her pricing while respecting certain conditions I had set price-wise in order to be willing to sell this season, and she worked very hard and achieved my goals in the sales negotiations. The house sold in 5 days. Jill is just a terrific agent, and person, a genuinely honest and kind person. I can't compliment her work on my sale enough, and her husband/agent Peter's assistance and support in my house prep was icing on the cake! Best possible experience and outcome during a difficult time in my life. Highest recommendation.

I worked with Joanne who was wonderful to work with. I believe Joanne was retired or was about to retire, and I think this company is run/owned by her son, John. She told me about great places to eat, about great spots to get inexpensive furniture, as well as other helpful information. She even gave me a ride back to the train because it was cold and late. I just wanted to leave a review since even after a couple of years have passed, I still remember how easy/positive it was to deal with Harbor Rental!
