I am still struggling with how a "professional" medical staff can treat a 16 year patient so callously. My Dad went for a routine visit and was put down, laughed at and totally humiliated by the "nurse" and staff because he didn't bring his reading glasses with him and was unable to complete a form. The "nurse" repeatedly (loudly) asked him if he could read, how could he drive if he can't read the form, and how did he get to the doctor's office that day? He explained he could see to drive but didn't have his reading glasses to complete the form. The "nurse" thought this was so unusually funny that she shared this information with others in the office and even reported to Dr. Crump that he, my Dad, couldn't read. Needless to say, my Dad was totally humiliated and embarrassed. Why, Dr. Crump, do you allow your staff to abuse your patients this way; especially elderly patients? read more
