Genuinely one of the worst agents I've had to deal with. Do NOT use them for Renter's Insurance…read more I've been with them for a year now. They were fine until I actually needed them to DO something. I needed an update to my additional interest (something numerous other companies and agents have told me should only take a few minutes to change) and it has been OVER A MONTH and still nothing! Any time I try to contact them about it, they tell me it will only take 1-2 more days to finish. I told them I will be fined if I do not provide this new information by the end of the month. It has taken them so long that I am about to be FINED TWICE because of their incompetence. When they finally had it done, they promised it would be sent by Thursday at the latest and I STILL didn't receive it until Friday. AND IT WASN'T EVEN CORRECT! They failed to even change it to the updated address! They only had to make TWO changes and they still couldn't do that! Not once have they apologized for ANY of this. This is how they treat someone that has been with them for over a year. Every other agent and company I have talked to about this has been shocked at just how incompetent they have been. Please, go to someone else. These people will only cause you stress and make you lose money.

On January 5, 2026, I received an unsolicited insurance sales call from the David Dupree State Farm…read moreInsurance Agency, despite my phone number being verified through the Missouri Attorney General's Do Not Call list. The caller stated he was calling from the David Dupree State Farm office to provide an insurance quote and attempted to set up an appointment. When I informed him that my number was on the Do Not Call list and asked for his name and office location, he immediately hung up. I called the number back and spoke with someone named Allison, who stated the owner, David Dupree, would return my call. When Mr. Dupree called, he confirmed that an agent from his office made the call but refused to identify the agent. He explained that the call was made by a new college hire who did not fully understand the agency's training protocols. He stated he did not see my number in the Do Not Call database and said he would handle the matter internally. He also stated that he would not remove my number from his office's internal calling list. My Do Not Call registration was verified through the Missouri Attorney General's office, and I filed formal complaints with the AG's No Call program (Complaint No. NC-2026-01-000582) and with State Farm corporate (Case #1843108). Based on this experience, I would urge consumers to proceed with caution.

We have been insured with this agency for a number of years but recently had to make some changes to some policies and get quotes for our daughter & son in law. Trevor was extremely helpful in getting all the information I needed. State Farm was able to insure our daughter & son in law for considerably less than 2 of their biggest competitors known for lower rates. In a time when people are needing to save as much as they can, the price difference was substantial to a young family. Trevor was also able to help me with my retirement plan. He took the time to meet with me in person to review my options. Considering the current market, I strongly recommend considering State Farm's options to protect what investments you may have. If having an agent who believes in personal service versus being just a policy number is important to you, I strongly recommend Clint Harris and his staff. You may find out you can lower your insurance expenses plus have good service at the same time.
