I was in a great deal of pain. I took off from work and went in for my appointment only to be told they didn't take my insurance and the initial evaluation and X-ray would be $329 not even dealing with the tooth's problem. I left in tears. I'm already struggling financially, experiencing extreme dental pain, now I've missed work, lost income, and then I call back once I stop crying because she said she knew some doctors that take my insurance, but she never bothers to call back even though they saw how upset I was when I left and the guy who answered the phone is probably the same guy who told me they took my insurance in the first place and is no help. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! incompetent & insensitive.

I never thought I'd be writing a review for an Endodontist- I didn't even know what one was till my…read moredentist mentioned that I may need a root canal. I'm still thinking to myself WTF happened. I walked in at 9:50, was in the chair at 10A and out the door at 10:30. WTF. I have no idea what this DR Doering even looks like- all I know is that it was done and I didn't have enough time to even realize what was happening. He runs a VERY well oiled machine- it is obviously what he specializes in so it wasn't too surprising. He was able to provide the confidence I needed to proceed with the procedure, and by the time I had a chance to think much he had music on and gave me a count down how much time was left along the way. It probably took a total of 8-10 minutes. Ok, I hope I don't need another root canal- but if I do.... I know where I'm going.

Had an endo consult here last week with Dr Doering. Once he realized I was not a candidate for his…read moreservices, his patient demeanor immediately changed. I was basically rushed out with an active infection and told to consult an oral surgeon ASAP. I had to ask for an antibiotic for the interim, which he told me "not to take unless I needed it." When I consulted my dentist & the oral surgeon later that day, both said to take the antibiotic immediately, as the numbing may not work during the treatment I needed with an active infection. Dr Doering also refused to prescribe me the treatment for a very common symptom of this antibiotic, which is standard process for the issue I experienced and has never been a problem with other dentists in the past. I was billed over $300 for hardly 5 minutes of Dr Doering's time, yet felt like I was disregarded because I did not end up spending big $$$ with him for treatment. Very happy to take your money, but incredibly reluctant to offer any necessary medication. Do not recommend.

I don't know where to begin, but know that this review will NEVER begin to cover how I feel about…read morethis office and specifically Dr. Tyler Guinn. I had an amazing initial experience with him to then be treated completely horribly and inhumanely by him in a number of ways. He left teeth 26 and 13 unfinished, causing me agony and suffering, and was completely negligent of my treatment as his patient. I am going to LOSE the teeth he started treating because he left them unfinished and no one would help me since they kept telling me to go back to him and he wouldn't help me even though it was HIS problem to treat. He treated me like I was the lowest human being on earth, and his justification? I was/am extremely depressed. So he gave up on me and treated me like I didn't exist and didn't deserve treatment. Because I was struggling. That was his justification. If you are ever struggling with these feelings, know that he feels you are beneath him. I hope one day he himself or one of his loved ones experiences that because he deserves to feel it first hand. I have been having extreme cold and hot sensitivity with 13 (which I should not be, indicating he likely left nerve tissue still in there or it's reinfected or cracked). I cannot eat and drink without suffering and he should be charged as far as I'm concerned. That is taking away basic human rights to physical nourishment, and he already knew I had an eating disorder, and I think he was intentionally doing that to starve me further and harm me intentionally. And he knew the physical agony I had been having with 26 and he left that unfinished to get re-infected as well. I am going to have to get a biopsy of it and get it extracted, and I very well could have osteomyelitis because of him leaving it open to infection. It was malicious intent. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing, putting me in harms way intentionally. He purposefully didn't finish these teeth so they could get reinfected and cause me harm. He not only didn't care if I had complications, he wanted me to have them. When I called to tell them that I was having problems with the treatment HE did, they told me they wouldn't see me. He never cared that I am suffering and struggling. Someone else tested 13 last week and told me it's still responding to cold and was basically a partially done root canal that is causing problems, and could be cracked at this point. I am taking this to LARA and I have already taken it to the MDA and I want to do more than that. I will take this as far as I can for the suffering he has caused me and the horrific feelings and thoughts running through my mind. He doesn't care about you. He's in this for the money and nothing else. I wish I could make it so he never touched another patient ever again. They ignored me when I called, refusing to call me back, and hanging up on me. One of the most unprofessional offices I have ever encountered and one of the cruelest doctors I have ever seen. Because I was struggling, that's how he chose to treat me. Like I wasn't worthy of care.

In my opinion, Dr. Tran is very friendly and has a kind demeanor, but he is still quite…read moreinexperienced. At times, being his patient feels more like being a test subject than receiving expert care. He often appears unsure of himself and does not seem fully prepared for advanced procedures such as crowns. This lack of experience can leave patients bearing the consequences, both in terms of pain and costs. The office itself is equipped with impressive new technology, including 3D machines that allow crowns to be completed in a single day. While this sounds like an excellent advancement, in less experienced hands it can pose risks. For example, a crown procedure may unfortunately, lead to a root canal because the root is damaged while a cavity is being drilled and filled, and there may be lapses in patient care such as not ensuring proper numbing before procedure because Dr. Tran is uncertain and nervous. To be clear, Dr. Tran is genuinely personable and welcoming, but patients should exercise caution when considering more complex procedures with him.

I'm either going to move on or maybe see if I can switch to one of the other doctors. Previous Review: I was WOWed from the first visit before even being a patient! They do free cleanings for the community once a year but they made it a fun event and gave top-notch care despite the busyness of getting a lot of people through. The office itself is really nice too, even down to details like landscaping so you have a nice view looking out the window. Well, for when you're not tipped back in the chair but, on my last visit, the chair was giving me a light massage. How cool is that?! The way they do things might be newer but that has been a plus for me (even for something as simple as bite wings not hurting during those yearly x-rays). Just watching their Facebook page, I can tell they do a lot to keep patients involved (like encouraging kids to brush) and they've done some community plus overseas assistance. I think that's fantastic! Oh, and I never feel like they are trying to push any service/product sales down my throat. :)
