Friday April 9th 2021 we notified title that our loan had funded and we need to know what are our next steps? As well as Fairways rep. The following Sunday April 11th, Tracy emails me and telling me the cost of materials "may" go up. Then the representative Tracy goes on vacation for a week. When I call the office Monday April 12th. I am told I need to speak speak to Tracy. And that they are trying to negotiate a price with their contractors. "Red Flag" Week goes by. I finally get to speak to Tracy. And she is probably the rudest person I have ever experienced. She stated the price of your home will go up "$15,000.00". Mind you we told Fairway we were on a strict budget when we signed. With our 2 young children present in their office. I emailed Tracy and asked her who will reimburse us for our closing costs. She said they will not be able to. Fairway Constructors is not Fair in any way. Save your money buy from some place else. Your best interest is not their concern. We backed out and said we are not paying $15,000 more. Still waiting on our $5000 deposit.

My husband and I are not rich people, so he made renderings that are to be either used right away, or done at a later date to help spread our money out. He not only does the design and renderings, but he helped us find our floor guy (and we love our floors!), furniture, shades, paint, etc. He knew we are on a budget, so he worked with our budget to find things that are affordable and sustainable.
