I haven't had a service done here so this review is not about that…read more I came in to ask if I could do a quick acne injection and they were fully booked for the day so I opted to come in the next day. Front desk mentioned a deposit was needed and I was happy to pay that, but then she said that I might as well pay the full amount while I'm there. So I paid the full amount for the service. Something came up the next day and it wouldn't have been worth injecting a zit days later. So I called to cancel and am then told they couldn't refund me. I can still come in and get the service done any time, but since it was for a one time acne lesion, I won't really be needing it. Plus I work at a nearby med spa and was only in the area. It would have been nice if someone told me upfront that if I cancelled, my money would be kept. Especially because I understand that being the case for the deposit, but I was encouraged to pay the full amount and all of it was kept. Of course I couldn't dispute the charge because it's in their fine print... A little upfront honesty and clarity would have gone a long way though.

I have some tricky little blonde leg hairs that are difficult to see AND tougher to come out but Jennifer gets 'em every time! I've also seen Giselle several times when Jennifer is not available and she's phenomenal too! I wish I could alternate seeing Jennifer and Giselle equally but my schedule doesn't permit! Finally, the ladies at reception are always so kind and helpful! I feel welcomed when I walk in and nurtured mind, body, and spirit every time I leave! It's an embarrassment of riches at Euro Wax Torrance!

I'm so happy I did! Sophie is extremely pleasant and gentle and explains what she's doing. Electrolysis does permanently stop hair from growing, but it takes repeated visits. The thicker hairs become thinner each time they are 'zapped', so there are noticeable results after the first few visits. No more plucking, yay!! The office is very private, it is upstairs in a business complex with a locked door. The treatment room is very bright because it has windows to the front of the building, and the music is relaxing. Sophie has other services, which I have not yet tried, but I would not hesitate to try any service she offers.

Owner is super talented and after the first two times ( because there is always an adjustment period), she knows exactly how to do lashes for your eye shape, and to have it last long. The store isn't super big, it's not like a chain shop but this shop is clean, cozy, quiet, cool if you want, warm if you want, etc. The vibe is "chefs kiss" ! Unless I move to another state, this is the only place I would get my lashes done EVER PERIOD.

This is also why I've gone to so many different kinds of waxing places (big chain businesses or even local small ones). But after literally 2 years of finding a good waxing place, I finally found the one! NYOKA IS AMAZING AND IS THE REAL DEAL!! Immediately walking into her shop, she already welcomed me by my name and with a smile. Already a great start :) And during the whole appointment, we had a great talk and she even checked in with me if I was okay. I can tell that she wanted to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. The fact that she even brought out the tweezers to do some small cleanups just goes to show her attention to detail and her efforts to make sure the end product was good before the appointment was over. Nyoka is extremely sweet and I can tell she loves what she is doing. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to visit and buy her services :)

She did ask if I wanted to add on additional service but when I declined there was no pressure and she went on with the service I had initially requested for. The salon was very clean and everyone was kind. The only con I can think of during my experience was that when choosing the color for my gel, I felt a bit pressured as he was standing next to me as if waiting to hurry and pick the color.
