Filling in their websites quick form, I was surprised when they contacted me that same afternoon. The entire process of financing and purchasing my new car was quick and more importantly, painless. I have no problem recommending O'Regan's to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I was impressed with the friendly, respectful attitude from both Robert Drohan and Tine Kidd, and will happily recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you both for making my decision and purchase a pleasure. My only regret is that I hadn't dealt with O'Regan's for my previous vehicles. #HalifaxAuthor

Buying a car is always a stressful situation for me…read more Up until last summer, i owned a 1999 Toyota Camry, and I loved it dearly. But, there comes a time in every good car's life where maintenance costs aren't worth it, and it's time to get something else. Things like this are stressful, and as of last August, I was in a pinch to have more maintenance completed or find a new mode of transportation - fast. So, I set out on a Saturday with a clear head, a focused set of demands for a new vehicle, and the hope that I would soon have a solution to my problem. The first place I visited was the O'Regan's Used Car Centre. The sales specialist that greeted me was Dean Cook, and he immediately was able to define what I was looking for and come up with some suggestions. I can't say I was the easiest customer to deal with, but he was able to give me some perspective on some options that fit my criteria. I visited a few other used car locations that same day, but nothing else was able to compare to both the service and options that I was able to find at O'Regan's, and before the afternoon was out, I had made a purchase from Dean! It was a bit of a sudden transition to be offered to take home my new toy for the weekend and finish the paperwork on Monday, but I obliged. The staff here are a direct extension of the O'Regan group of companies, so the sales staff have access to all the O'Regan lots and will bring cars to you, if their is something in their database that you are interested in at another location. Additionally, they take trade-ins, made sure my car was washed, tossed in some free mats and did some break work on the car free of charge when I noticed a couple things I wanted adjusted. I really valued the time and attention that the staff give each customer here - there's a tendency to visit other used car locations and deal with seemingly shady salesman, but not here. I'd consider this the first and best spot to look for a 2nd-hand car in Halifax.

I have been looking into a new car for a few weeks now, so we decided to go in and see what was available. After looking around the lot (and visiting some extra lots as well), I had found something special: A Ford Focus in Candy Blue. Good Lord, this was a nice car. Now, car dealerships have a certain "reputation" if you will. We all know the stereotypical oily salesmen who supposedly roam around and pounce on unsuspecting clients. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Especially as I'm a female with not much car knowledge in my head (to my parents utter dismay). When John Bond appeared to help us out (best. name. ever.), I was put to ease immediately. He agreed that the Focus was a lovely model, but then made sure to go over a few more options, just so I was aware of pros and cons. He asked questions about what the car would be used for, what kind of storage would I need, and made me think about issues I didn't even realize at first. It was obvious that he didn't want to just sell me a car- He wanted to sell me MY car. The entire process was painless. He even suggested I take the car on a test ride to Bedford to show my Ford-obsessed boyfriend and get his opinion on it too! He worked with us to find a great price, and I really can't say enough good things about him! I never once felt I was being ripped-off or taken advantage of. I can wholeheartedly recommend both this dealership and their staff. I worked with both John and Mike Kleykens, and they were both real people who didn't just spew out canned sales information at me. They did their jobs, and did them without making me feel uncomfortable. In conclusion, I have an amazing car now. Watch out for me on the highway. I usually speed.

I have been to Carsville twice…read more The first visit was probably 8-10 months ago. I was in the market for a new vehicle and after spending a lot of time researching online, I had narrowed it down to a few options. I made a list of used car dealerships that had vehicles that I thought I may be interested in and decided to visit each one to get a closer look. I arrived, got out of the car, and walked over to the vehicle that I had seen online. One of their sales staff quickly came over and asked if there was anything he could do to help. I responded truthfully saying "No, I'm just looking around thanks." to which he responded "Why come out here and waste my time then? You can 'just look around' on the internet." and we left. Fast forward to present, my girlfriend is now looking for a new vehicle. We decided to go back to Carsville despite the previous encounter because they had 3 or 4 of the vehicle she was interested in. We went over and were looking at a few cars when a (different) sales guy walks over to us. He asked what our budget was, my girlfriend told him. After trying to sell us on a car that was almost twice our stated budget, he asked what he could do to sell us a car on that day. My girlfriend replied "I'm not looking to buy today but I think this is model that I want. I was hoping to take it for a drive." The guy responded "I'm sorry, we're really busy and I get paid to sell cars, not give test drives." It is worth noting at this point that there was not another customer on the lot the entire time we were there and the three other sales guys had just been standing around in a group chatting since we arrived. Once again, we left angry. We will never return.
