This place is brilliant!…read more My sister and all her bridesmaids had all their dresses altered here a few years ago, so although there isn't much written about stitches online, I knew they are a good local option for alterations. I had my wedding dress made for me in Hong Kong, but they made it a teeny bit too big for me, and slightly too long (as I hadn't chosen my shoes yet when I ordered it...) so I popped in here to get it taken in a little. I called up before we arrived, but they told me I didn't need to make an appointment. I put on my dress, they pinned it up, and then I came back a couple of weeks later to pick it up. The second time I tried it on, my dress was a teeny bit too small (I probably ate too much- Oops) so the tailor sent me away for an hour while she let it out half an inch. It now looks perfect, and it was only £40 for all the alterations. Most wedding alternations in London cost £140-£300, so I am sooo glad I came to Rushden instead! Phew! :)
