I'm hoping to clear a few things up not listed here. I'm an Eversource customer, and while I have…read morenot had an issue with North American Power, I would tell anyone to proceed with caution. If you watch your money and bills like a hawk, it might be worth it to you. NAP makes it sound like you will save a huge amount of money, you won't. It is a little bit, but you need to keep an eye on your contract, when it ends, and how to update it or get out of it. If you can't do that, or aren't the kind of person who looks closely at your bills each month, do not sign up with them. As of today, right on Eversource's website, there are providers offering a better rate than NAP, some by a fair amount. At least through Eversource, you can opt out of your third party contract with NAP (or another provider) fairly easily. However, you must make sure that there is no termination fee, or other hidden fee if you do. NAP's is $50 as of this writing. Logging into NAP and finding out any information about your account with them is something I have yet to be able to do. I don't like calling people like this as there is no paper trail, so expect to be on your own here. Eversource has a video on YouTube I recommend everyone watch before considering a third party supplier. It's called: RECOGNIZING AGGRESSIVE MARKETING TACTICS. NAP was once a MLM company, they are no longer, I'll give them that. I have not been ripped off by them, but I do trust the people on here that claim to be, to be honest. As I look at NAP, I can easily see how someone could be burned by their system. Final line, if you are the kind of person who watches your bills like a hawk, and NAP offers a better deal than others, go for it, and keep your eyes open. If not, even if you're at all unsure, skip them.

This company is completely unethical, the worst case of taking advantage of the consumer I've ever…read moreseen. They are essentially preying on customers who are unaware of their despicable tactics. I switched to them originally from a mailer solicitation, which promoted a more reasonable rate. After the initial period, the rate skyrocketed. Unfortunately, I did not notice or compare to see how high it actually was, which is my bad. Their rate was $0.1699/kWh vs $0.069 at Pepco, hard to imagine how they can get away with charging so much. Fortunately, I was able to cancel them quickly through Pepco vs. it taking a couple business cycles through NAP. This is an expensive lesson learned and hopefully there are more lawsuits against them to right these wrongs.

We were very please with the job Piro Paving did on our driveway this fall. It is a very difficult…read morejob because it is sharply curved and is on a steep hill; it requires special attention for drainage to keep water out of our house. Not only does the finished product look great. with the beautiful Belgian block edging, it drained perfectly during the recent storm. We were impressed with Frank, the owner, when he came out to estimate the job. Unlike the other companies, he immediately saw the drainage issues and discussed how to address them. His price was right in the middle of the estimates we received, so we know it was fair. Communication during the project was also very good. He called several times to keep us apprised of timing. Frank himself was on the job himself for the paving to make sure it was done right. And, he came back to walk the driveway with us after the asphalt had set to be sure we were happy with everything. I strongly recommend Piro Paving, especially if you have anything other than a simple project.

So they called me the Tuesday before the Wednesday that it was to be torn up and told me that due to the weather that they were canceling it and then we'll play it by ear to reschedule. But the weather cleared up and I didn't see an issue but I was like OK. so, Wednesday comes and there the people at my driveway ready to tear it up and I'm like what is going on. I voiced my confusion. So on Wednesday, Mr. Pirro showed up of course to get money and tells me,all of a sudden on Friday he can't come to pave because they now have scheduled some parking lot to be paved. What about my driveway that was scheduled? So now I feel that I'm really not that important to them. So now it's Friday and I have a voicemail from Paula, Mr Pirros wife, telling me, that the pavers are on their way over, and to pull the cars out of the driveway and open up your garage door. So I pulled the cars out of the driveway and left her a message saying that I got her phone message and thank you for calling. All of a sudden she's at my front door ringing the doorbell in this panic and I answered the door and she's like I called and I wanna make sure you got the message. You gotta open the garage door and I said as soon as I see them in my driveway, I will open up the garage door, but I did move the cars out. She's like oh OK. I wanna make sure you got the message. I said I did thank you. Well, now it has been over two hours and they still have not shown up to pave my driveway. I am so fed up with this company with all of their back-and-forth. They have no friggin idea what is going on. They're on the ball when it comes to collecting money though that's for sure. So here I am rescheduling my whole life for them and they could give two frigging craps. I am so fed up with them. They're coming or no we're not coming, do this, or no never mind, schedule it, don't show up, or, oh we scheduled something else. Im just so fed up!!!!!!!!!!
