I cannot say enough about the Monroe Wisconsin location. This is the most personalized and personal bank I have ever visited. I walked in the lobby a year ago and I am so grateful I did. Amelia and the rest of her team, Veronica and others are as friendly and welcoming as anyone could ask. The atmosphere was very unlike all other banks I had used. Homey comes to mind. Amelia from the very first tried to save me money and provide guidance on financial matters with being pushy. She also didn't push credit on me. This is so unlike others banking institutions I have visited. First visit here sign up for our credit card. The hard sell is a turn off. Thank you Amelia and Veronica. read more

Wisconsin Bank and Trust Their senior banker and notary was…read morethe worst experience I've ever had with a bank. Lena always had an excuse for why she would not do something as simple as notarize a signature. She always complained that she is a Laywer in Russia and gets paid more there rather than at a bank and acted like her job was beneath her. We were told to format the paper differently- we did then went back a week later and Lena never even came to speak to us directly the manager of the bank had to come down and talk to her and Lena still refused to notarize a simple signature. I've never felt discriminated against before but when I told the manager how I was feeling she went back to Lena for a second then came back to us and didn't even look us in the eye just said that the notary "didn't feel comfortable" ... maybe it was because the bank closed in 30 min - scoff! We went to a different bank right around the corner and had our paper notarized in less than 5 min .... needless to say we will be switching banks.

Do not bank here. Will not give you your own money! Treated like a criminal. Lack of communication between main and local office. Very unprofessional! read more

I'd give Summit a 5-star rating except that I've only been a customer for a few years. Summit was…read morerecommended by one of my kids in Madison who keeps money there and also has a mortgage with Summit. She was right. So far I am very pleased with Summit. The people there are friendly, and you can also do a lot online because they have an awesome website. I recently nailed some good (well, for nowadays) CD rates there and am slowly moving money over from another bank in town that's still paying tiny fractions of a percent in interest. You can check out Summit's rates on their website. Highly recommended.

This bank is pretty old school, but then so am I. I've been a customer for about 15 years or so,…read moreand have always found the personnel to be helpful. I mostly use the drive-through, but occasionally need to go inside for something and I've never had a problem. They keep customers up to date with an occasional newsletter. They may not have all the latest bells and whistles, but I'm OK with that. Highly recommended.
