Fish and chips were great! Good cold beer! Service was great. Good bar and restaurant on edge of town.

Got a $41 pizza tonight and was not impressed, the bottom of my pizza smelled and tasted like dish soap :( My gf called and told them it smelled and tasted like soap and asked them to make a new one but they said there was nothing they could do for me, so my gf sent me down there to sort this out and I told the cashier it smelled like soap and the cashier said she had to ask her boss, she asked her boss if we could return the pizza and she said nope. If I woulda got it re-made or my money back then I wouldn't have written this review. In conclusion check your food right when you get it. read more

One of the only restaurants in town. It's a bar/restaurant that specializes mostly in pizza. The pizza is pretty good! It is a fluffier crust than I'm used to, but I do enjoy it. Service has always been pretty good. The bar side has a rotating but small selection on draft, and good prices. They do Karaoke on Thursdays if thats your thing. I like ending up here. read more

If you like to smoke this is your place, you still can smoke inside. This is not the worst thing. They are supposed to have great pizza. It is expensive (try about $30) which is expected in AK and while I try to adjust my expectations about the quality of food in the area, I am somehow still disappointed. I think I could get past that if I was served a pitcher of beer that wasn't completely flat by a wait staff that had taken apathy to an art form. Upon receiving my bill, I inquired at the price of beer by the pint since $28 seemed high for a pitcher of Sam Adams (there was no local tap - stupid) $4.50 for a pint. Ok. That's fine except they listened to a discussion at the table about how since we were ordering three beers anyway, it would be logical to take the better value of a pitcher. The waitstaff seemed to agree so I feel misled. This may lend too much credit to their business acumen since when I inquired about the price discrepancy they seemed confused at my frustration. I couldn't help but mention that this is contrary to the standard pricing model used in the industry but I didn't push the issue since it was obviously a futile endeavor to reason with the locals.
