I understand that it might be as high as 800 and pretty much counted on that because surely if it was anything higher I would get a phone call for approval. I know this from owning and operating an outdoor power equipment dealership and service facility for a number of years. Well I just got a phone call from Terry at Seaworthy letting me know my boat was ready and that the tab was 1200 dollars.... not quite the 600 or 700 he quoted, double that. No phone call, just a 1200 dollar bill. He also seemed really upset and defensive when I had the nerve to ask him why the bill was double the quote. Maybe he's having some personal issues and I'm just catching him at a bad time but his response was disproportionate to my simple question. I guess what was disappointing to me is that I've always liked Seaworthy and now I just don't feel like I'd ever do business with them again. In short, take any ballpark estimate from him as just that, a BALLPARK estimate. May not even be the same ballpark, lol! Oh well...
