Returned here for a birthday party happening at the kids' water splash pad area. Young kids love…read morethe shallow swim area plus the spouting, spraying water, and climbing structures. This is perfect for little kids but not so much for older kids. There is a lifeguard there at all times, only watching this splashpad, which is very cool. Still must be very watchful as a parent. I wish there was more shade for seated, watching parents, but so be it. There is a shady picnic grassy area adjacent to the splash pad that can easily be used to host a birthday party. The picnic tables are not close enough to the splashpad to be able to watch your kids from here. This whole area is fenced in and only accessible by coming through the front of the Aquatic Center's check in gate. Then only those who purchase additional tickets can enter this area to use the splash pad. My friend brought coolers and had a nice party here. We first noticed the splash pad during swimming lessons here. Since it is inside of the Aquatic Center, it is not very visible from the road. Please note that only bathing suits are allowed; no normal shorts are allowed. They will enforce this! Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

The problem is, these people will cancel if a cloud might come out. With all the cancellations, some after she was suppose to be at my house, my little one never learned how to swim. My nine year old was already comfortable in the water, but after 5 lessons she learned the proper technique. The reason for 1star is, the cancellations and the harassing text messages I received after canceling their services. Over a period of 3 weeks we had 5 lessons and 9 cancellations which the blamed the weather and most times it did not rain or rain was over in 10 minutes (we live in South Florida). I received constant text messages telling me to call and pay $60. I text back to send me an invoice with my address and I will review and send payment or dispute. I asked to no longer be sent text messages(who handles their business via text??). They sent me a text demanding money and threatened to put a a lien on my home. I looked them up on the better business bureau so I could report them. The company does not exist. Do not waste your time. They come across nice but they are unprofessional.

He loves the children area and soon his baby swimming lessons. Love the teachers here who are so caring and nice. So far I have taken a few group classes and enjoyed them. The gym is nice as well with good updated equipment. I like the cleanliness and variety of the machines. The only thing that could get a upgrade is the bathroom shower area. It seems a little dated. Teresa's approach is loving and trusting but with the right amount of "tough love" that teaches the children how to survive in any water survival situation. My 2 year old most recently was tested in a real life situation when she lost her balance on a pool step and fell backwards in the pool; she instantly almost naturally knew to float on her back with her chin up until she knew she was near the pool wall to grab on. My child would never have learned this skill and most importantly done it under pressure without the teachings of "T.T.". The thing that impressed me the most when I first met Teresa was the fact that this special lady is truly in the business of teaching children to swim because she wants to save lives-and I know for a fact that she is every time she gets in the pool to teach a child! I will forever feel blessed that our paths crossed.
