I will write this review my drive-up gate repair process transpires, which is something I like to do with services-oriented companies. I just talked with Letty who was very nice over the phone. Not having had Marina to my property for over 10 years I'm needing to re-submit a C.O.D. form, which is no problem. Next up will be booking an appointment to have someone look at my gate system, which has been acting sporadically... Part 2 forthcoming. Part #2, the technicians (Bob & Caesar) arrived on Monday as I was told they would. I had some minor challenges with getting a call a little in advance of their arrival, but it was not a big deal as someone was home at my house. The technicians arrived around 10AM and finished their general adjustments and maintenance by 10:45AM. I suspected it would be fairly quick and easy, and it was. I paid $171.90 for a lube and general adjustments/maintenance. Still dependent on the long-term results, but this was a great experience. The office staff (Letty & Abi) were great, and the technicians did what was expected, my gate is again running to perfection. read more

I had these guys install a gate operator for me back in July '12. I'm just getting around to writing reviews of all the vendors/contractors that have done work for me. They gave me an amazing quote so I went with them. They were referred to me by a friend so I'm not really sure how much of a deal I ended up getting, but I called around and they were generally about the same or lower than everybody else. The work was fabulous. They turned a dual sliding gate into a one-sliding gate (making the other side which would never be used, stationary). It was a professional top notch job. Not just the gate modifications but the gate operator placement as well. 3 years later, it's never failed to open or close. Very happy w/the service. UPDATE 2018: Recently I called them again to install two walkway gates, and boy did they not disappoint. Did a fantastic, professional job (see attached pics). Couldn't be happier. read more

Mike is GREAT guy who came out to give us a quote on fixing our front gate. He looked at the call box, got a tool from his truck and had it working again within minutes!!!! A real stand up guy who said he wouldn't feel right charging us for the fix. We showed him around the rest of the building and he pointed out things we might want to consider repairing/replacing in the future. We're sold on Mike!! Would recommend him for everyone!! read more

Michael came out to give me an estimate to install a new intercom system and repair a gate, seemed very fair as to explaining the work that needed to be done. He didn't give me a price on the spot but said he would email a quote by the end of day. Never received the email, so I called two days later to follow up, was told he was out of the office but would send me the quote when he returned, however, I never received the email. I called three more times over the course of a week and a half to no avail. Spoke with a woman over the phone asking if someone else could come out to give me a quote since Michael was obviously not able to prepare it. We were having issues with people loitering on our back stairway, and decided to get a security gate. I sent Marina site photos and a drawing of what was needed and they gave me a price. They had one of the best prices and they were recommended by a neighbor, so I gave them a call. They came out, took measurements and I gave them a deposit. A few weeks later, as scheduled, they came out and installed the completed gate. From the start, I was impressed by the quality and workmanship of the gate. I was even more impressed with the thoroughness and attention to detail of their crew. They took care of every detail, and I am delighted with their work. read more

A few years later, I needed front porch railings added. Marina completed field measurements, matched the style and paint finish. This is not a review of their gates. I contacted this company about getting a quote for an electronic motorized gate for the entrance to my backyard. I was asked to send over pictures so they could provide a quote faster which I did the next day. I called twice to follow up with a few days in between each call and was assured someone would get back to me but nobody ever did. If they do not have enough time to get back to potential customers, I just wish they would have told me so I could move onto the next company instead of wasting my time following up and waiting. read more

i cannot tell you how happy i was with this company's honesty and service. I am a woman who owns a 3 unit building and service providers are ALWAYS trying to take advantage of me. My security gate wasn't working, and one company Garage Door Repair Service in Devonshire came and told me that i had blown the motor and computer in the gate, and needed a new one for $4000. I had a bad feeling and so was recommended to BRAD at Marina Security. His guys came on time, were super friendly, and for $188 REPLACED A BLOWN FUSE!!!! and put in a new motor belt and did a tune up of my springs. These are my guys forever. Also beware RL Payne, who quoted $l5,000 for a new a/c unit, when it turned out Universal Refrigeration came and put in 4 new screws for $250 and i've been fine for over a year. So, MARINA is the bomb!!!! read more

I contacted this company on 7/23/17, for a price quote for a Motor for my Mother's Home Electric Gates. They explained that it would be a couple of days before someone could come out to give me a quote. About 3 days later I called again, and they said they were behind and/or busy and would get back to me. I explained that she lived within 5 miles of their location. The gentleman said ok, he would see what he could do to personally come out and give me a quote. Here it is almost 9 business days later and I haven't even gotten a call back or anything. But reading other reviews, I see this is a systemic problem with this company. All I can say is if they can't even come out and provide a quote, I truly have a hard time believing they will perform quality and timely work ethics! (I'm just saying!) I have now contacted another company, they came out the next day, and will perform the service that I need on next week. read more

This company is hit or miss. I called them about 9 months ago to come out to service a 30 year old garage gate. I was happy with the service and the technician. Recently I contacted them to do a larger project on the property to repair 2 iron gates, banisters and a perimeter fence. It took several weeks to get an appointment. The gentleman who came out was on time, very friendly and knowledgable. He offered to give me some options and write an estimate. I am still waiting for the estimate 6 weeks later. I have called into the office many times and always get told that it will be emailed in a day or two.. then nothing. We are ready to do the work, but this company obviously is not. We had hoped they would be our lifetime gate/property service company, but you can only call so many times... read more

Marina Security Gate is the best! I had another company install an electric gate at my house and it was a disaster on every level. Gate posts were set too close, work was shoddy, the hinges were installed upside down, the fence posts sunk, the gate metal structure was bowed, and they reneged on their stated warranty to fix these problems. Brad sent out a team from Marina Security Gate and fixed all of these problems in a prompt and professional manner and at a fair price. They have been back on occasion to service the gate and they always show up as promised. Highest recommendation. read more

Marina security is the best. I called a number of other companies and they didn't service me properly as a customer. Most wanted to sell me a whole new gate systems for thousands of dollars or wanted to gouge me to repair my existing system.
