I tear up to this day when I think of how The LORD took care of me through her!!! I didn't know I was in the best hands, as my other 2 were not with her. After delivery she took such good care of me!!! I'd cry every time she stepped into my hospital room to tend to my c-section. Never in my life did I feel so taken care like how she showed up for me at the Hospital. As a patient during the process, little did I know she was up all night and mornings delivering babies and making rounds for their mothers at the hospital, and then still show up at the clinic answering all my anxious questions as patiently, calming and assuring as she could. To say I LOVE HER and will never forget her just humbly being herself is an understatement! Please be kind and supportive of her too. She deserves the world. I love you Dr. Bowens! This woman is an absolute disgrace to the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Her office is…read morechaotic, it's a terrible place for a pregnant woman to be at any time during her pregnancy. They send you into a bathroom to give your urine sample. The bathroom is the size of a shoebox with absolutely no room for the growing pregnant body. To top it off they over schedule over book, and you are going to be communicating with at least four or five people just to get from the front desk into your appointment. The rooms are tiny. She will not spend any more than 15 minutes with you at your appointment. She is stuck in her ways, stubborn, and has not grown as a doctor in however, many years she's been practicing. Do everything you possibly can to avoid working with this doctor. at my 37 week appointment in 95° weather, I mentioned that I was feeling tired. Her response was it's because you're gaining too much weight. Now mind you, she has never asked me about my nutrition about my exercise. She never even checked to see what my pre-pregnancy weight was. She never checked to see if I had any eating disorders or anything that might be affecting my weight. She simply said your weight is just too much to be healthy. Never did any investigating to find out anything about me. I am an extremely healthy and active person. And have only gained 40 pounds during this pregnancy. I'm nine months pregnant, of course I'm tired. That is to be expected when you were nine months pregnant. Again, I would never recommend this office or this alleged doctor to anyone. She is absolutely terrible. Her office is absolutely terrible and she should not be touching any woman's body or working with anyone.

I had large fibroid tumors in my uterus. After months of trying other treatment treatments and meds I became anemic and tired. The doctor told me I have To have a hysterectomy. I was not happy, but tired about the appointment a doctors and treatments. my doctor referred me to a gynecologist specialist at Cedar Sinai. I want to see the specialist I was unhappy from day one. The Dr came in he was in a hurry he told me I need a hysterectomy get my uterus is swollen twice its size and they see that was it. he said I need a biopsy on my cervix to see if I had cancer. I had it done then I waited for 3 week I didn't hear from them I call them. They didn't call because they were busy. Everything what is fine they gave me up I need to see the doctor the following week.....UNHAPPY. Mind you that I'M still bleeding every day forl weeks. Call my regular doctor for another specialist. But, I'm listen to everyone say cedar Sinai is the best!!!! I see the doctor again and he on the phone in the room with me. He says you need to complete hysterectomy because you are 50, It would be better for you. But nothing wrong with MY cervix. Now I ran out of this office. My primary doctor found me Dr Velasco at the last min. her office is in Lynnwood it's not very fancy she's very simple. But the moment I went and to her office she answered every question, from that moment I decide to have the surgery. I have the surgery the following week this past Thurday. Very happy from the moment I saw her I was at peace. I still have my cervix ovaries and fallopian tubes. The surgery was smooth and I'm at home healing perfectly. I never have to wait too long, and the atmosphere is welcoming. But Dr. Marsha Mareinson truly stood out. From the moment I walked in, she was amazing. She took the time to review everything I had previously done, explained all the procedures and findings clearly, and was incredibly thoughtful about my dialysis and any medications I could take. She made sure I fully understood what to expect and answered every question with patience and clarity. It was so comforting to know that someone truly knows my medical history and is invested in my care. Dr. Mareinson made me feel heard, safe, and understood, and she even emphasized that she wants to follow up with me personally--which means a lot. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mareinson and the entire AllSafe Medical Group team 100%. They are professional, kind, and genuinely care about their patients.

The one exception was the doctor who cared for my Abuelito when he was taken off life support. He was incredibly compassionate and even prayed with our family. I will forever appreciate him. Unfortunately, my experiences with many other staff members were the complete opposite--rude attitudes, eye rolling, and acting annoyed simply because we asked questions about my grandfather's care. One experience I will never forget happened during the month my Abuelito was hospitalized. As a single mother, I brought my two toddlers to visit him. We were allowed upstairs, they weren't causing problems, and when we were asked to leave because of visitor policies, I had no issue with it. I only asked for an update on my grandfather before leaving. Afterward, I returned because I forgot something and overheard his nurse standing outside his room saying, "Who brings babies into a hospital? So dumb." She didn't realize I was standing behind her. When I told her that talking about a patient's family right outside his room was inappropriate, another nurse threatened to call security because I was supposedly being "hostile." What makes this heartbreaking is that this ended up being the last time my children ever saw their great-grandfather. A few days later, he passed away. Healthcare workers are human and I understand difficult days--I work in customer service myself. But there is a time and place to vent. Patients and their families deserve basic dignity and compassion. What may be a forgettable interaction during someone's shift can become a memory a grieving family carries forever.
