First time coming to this office after a doctor referral. Had no idea what to expect, as this isn't my neck of the woods. I was pleasantly surprised. The location was easy to access, street parking was easy to find, and the staff were phenomenal. Arelly, at the front desk was warm and welcoming, and Maria, who did my intake, was hilarious. They definitely made the appointment a breeze. If you're looking for a new OBGYN, I definitely suggest this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First things first, the midwives at this office are TERRIBLE. They're rude and condescending anytime you have a question.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As a first time mom, I had silly questions, which in hindsight weren't that silly. Anytime I'd ask, I'd be met with annoyance and dismissive responses.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]One of them shared how tired she was of being a mom of 3 and blah blah, every conversation was always negative & never productive to my pregnancy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The OBGYN Neha was actually really good for the first 2 trimesters. She was kind, welcoming, thorough, and consistently took the time to explain things clearly, which made me feel supported as a patient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, my experience changed significantly in the third trimester. Due to high levels of stress and my Type 1 diabetes, I discussed going on medical leave. She agreed, approved it, and instructed me to pick up my leave letter the following Monday. When I returned, that decision was reversed, not due to new medical information, but because the office manager Cynthia expressed that she "did not approve" of the letter. This individual does not have medical expertise, nor is it within their scope to override a physician's medical judgment. What concerned me most was how easily my doctor's medical opinion was swayed by non-clinical staff. As a high-risk patient, that lack of advocacy and backbone was alarming. While I appreciated her care earlier in my pregnancy, this experience made me question the safety and reliability of having a provider whose medical decisions can be influenced by non-medical personnel, such as a office manager. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The MAs were really kind. They were always so sweet and welcoming when checking me in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cherry on top was the office manager Cynthia. She's awful, truly awful. Which isn't an isolated experience, most reviews state how awful she is. She was openly rude and unprofessional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She laughed about my Type 1 diabetes, offered unsolicited medical advice outside her scope, and reduced my legitimate medical concerns to "just checking my blood sugars."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once I left the office and my new provider requested my file, they kept delaying the process and ignoring requests. Safe to say, stay away from this office. Thankfully my babygirl arrived safely and my new office was amazing! read more

i wouldn't step foot in this office if it was the LAST CLINIC ON THIS EARTH. please do not ever go here. i was forced into getting an IUD without proper care beforehand which resulted in infection and a million emergency visits. [[HIGHLIGHT]]i asked to speak with the doctor and they sent a MIDWIFE to talk to me after i complained consistently.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]they continued to gaslight and manipulate me by saying i wasn't giving the iud enough time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] BS. the doctor here is horrible, the nurse practitioner is horrible, the MA's are really nice but other than that they are literally profiting off of placing iud's !!!!! i searched them up and they receive payment bonuses based on how many iud's they sell from Kyleena/Mirena. i have never been so traumatized in my life. if you're a woman of color please go somewhere else where you are heard and understood. my infection could've resulted in me going septic and losing my life. i would absolutely hate for someone to experience what i went through. :( read more

Worst place ever, they discriminate handicap people the building isnt up to code and the staff its really rude instead of trying to accomodate they just act rude they should say their building and office staff dont like handicap people. read more

Best ob/gyn office experience I've had in my adulthood. From being greeted by Arely in the front to the medical assistant Maria attending to me. I had a million questions and I was not dismissed -all my concerns were taken seriously and addressed. Nurse Practitioner Denise listened and showed that she cared. I was not rushed off as so many other doctor office make patients feel. I truly felt that she cared and she was able to educate me and order my necessary test. I am so grateful to the staff here. DISAPPOINTED!!...the least I can say just attended to this clinic they started doing the consultation before they verified my insurance/authorization at the middle of the consultation they let me know the insurance/authorization wasn't going to cover anything and they told me I had to pay $250 I find it very unprofessional to do any services before let you know if you have a copay or you have to pay out of pocket...to make short at the end they said they couldn't force me to pay but regardless of the mistake/error they will collect the payment sounded like a treat very unprofessional I asked to speak to the manager or supervisor but for some reason she never came and the front desk girl was going back and forth....! ...IT WAS YOUR MISTAKE AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR IT! read more

The south gate office really makes each visit special. Been coming here for my prenatal appointments. The wait time is not long, the team is amazing, the girls are super nice and attentive to all your needs. The doctors are the best they make sure to check and cover all bases for each visit and answer all your questions. Being pregnant isn't easy but the team here makes you feel more at ease as you get closer to having your baby. read more

Upon my visit at the Marina Ob/Gyn I came in for a female problem. And I must say that the wait time was favorable it wasn't long. I appreciated Dr. Sharma who was very knowledgeable about my female issue. The receptionist her name is Zoey she has a bubbly personality and was very polite. WARNING ...DO NOT RECOMMEND...I had an appointment on 07/12 ...[[HIGHLIGHT]]First thing when I arrived I told from office I do not have insurance I inly have this letter/authorization that clearly said any services provided will be the clinic responsible[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 5 minutes into the checking in they took me to the back and started to perform services (health history and UA) ....after that I talked to the mid wife that just told me you look fine ...I was there for an ECTOPIC PREGNANCY ONLY WEEKS AFTER she never touched where I had the pain or did not do any type on inspection she said she would order an ultrasound to check (thankfully it was never performed)...[[HIGHLIGHT]]then the same MA front office walks into the room and tells me my insurance was not active something I told her dice the beginning!...and tells me the price[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ...[[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked to talk to the supervisor multiple times and told her that what would I have paid for something (same answer I get from my providers I work at a urgent care)...the answer of the MA was ...my supervisor said regardless of you paying or not we will collect our payment[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ...I did record the hole conversation with her admitting it was her fault for not letting me know ahead...but there's was nothing she can do now I have a payment of $250 WONDER to how many people they have done this to!....I will seek legal action read more
