Booked a 3 hour pontoon boat 8-11am online for over $650 and went to check in at the Mariana and waited in line for 30 mins before they helped me then had to do another 30 min boat "tour" which included me taking pictures of the prop on their iPads (which I though was weird) before we could get the boat out so by the end of it we only had 2 hours on the water. When we brought the boat back they tried to argue that the prop was not the same as when we took it out and asked me if I had pictures to prove it. I told them the photos were on their iPad. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the prop. Not even chipped paint. We did not hit anything while we were out. After arguing with the guy who worked there I told him that he was taking pictures from a different angle and in different lighting and demanded he put the boat in the original spot then reevaluate. He eventually did and was still trying to argue the prop didn't "look the same" as before. They tried to charge me an additional $150 for prop damage. This would have brought the total to over $800 for a 2 hour pontoon rental. I continued to argue for another 20 mins before he finally said let's just end it and I'll let it go but next time you need to take photos of the prop. They are hard core scammers. Should've read the reviews before renting from these crooks. Just like the other people who have reviewed said they will come up with some bs about the propeller being dinged and yes they make you take a picture prior but i would recommended taking your own picture of every angle and in all different lighting annotating any damage you see prior to leaving to whoever is checking you out or they will find something wrong when you come back. $700 for 3 hrs, $30 for gas and attempted to charge $150 for damage. There's not even a chip in the propeller. No wonder this was the only thing available last minute. read more

We are visiting from California and actually had a great time on the boat until we got back to the marina and was charged $120 for a scratched propeller. Funny thing is my husband is an ocean fisherman and knows how to drive a boat but the way they scam is professional. Also the people before us warned us about them doing this so I guess that's just how they work taking money from people trying to enjoy their time. everything was great. we got proper training but when we we're getting near the dock there was like 3 people trying to instruct us on what to do but they began raising their voice until one of the workers (white female, probably a karen) yelled at my dad (who doesn't speak English) dont you understand! you need to listen!get over here! while she threw the biggest tantrum throwing her hands in the air and stomping her feet and she did it in front of all these people. luckily me and my brother were there to step and told her to leave her her attitude. and before we were able to get off the boat she went into the store and hid. soo unprofessional and stupid. do not recommend! read more

This was our first time renting from this Marina. First, we didn't get the proper safety training from the instructor before leaving the marina. Luckily we were already educated on the use of the safety flags when dragging a tube. Second, we showed up early for paperwork and instructions and they still took longer than 30 min which they counted against the renting time of 3 hours so we really only got 2.5 hours of riding time. Lastly, when we arrived back at the marina they "misplaced" our paperwork and as we waited patiently we were advised from the front desk person that we could go ahead and leave. She stated that they would calculate gas charges and use our card on file so we could go home. Later we find a charge of $187 on our card. They stated that there was damage to the propeller. We asked for our paperwork along with pictures of the propeller. After speaking with management he confused us with another party but then after correcting himself still advised that the boat with the damage was our boat. We asked for proof of the boat we were on, they didn't provide it. The pictures they sent us didn't show a boat number or time stamp. Will never rent from these crooks again. Highly recommend NOT to rent from Marina Del Sur. read more
