Classic tin top tucked away and the fact they have been open this long says something. The atmosphere was as expected. Dim lighting, a roadhouse style bar, dinning hall next to the pool tables, friendly service and not too busy but a local favorite. The food was pretty good. We ordered some spicy fried pickles that were good. It wasn't a big proportion by any means though. Their burger menu looks promising with many options. I don't like crinkle frys and that's the only kind they have paired with a burger so I tried something different as I've been told their smoked potatoes are delish. So, I ordered the loaded pulled pork smoked potato. It was huge!!! I took half home. The potatoes could have been cooked just a bit longer and it was not hot enough - the only real complaint around the table but that didn't stop us from eating ours. The pulled pork was good. Seems a little pricy for what it was but it was a lot of food. Other people ordered the 16 oz ribeye special for $35. It came with a salad, smoked baked potato, green beans and I think some Texas toast but I don't remember. It did look like a tasty cut of meat. There was a shrimp plate ordered, and a couple burgers. Everyone ate their food and there were no complaints other than the not hot potatoes. I also ordered ice tea. It was really watered down so I would pass on that next time. Overall, the options were plenty, the company was great, service was good and we had a nice time.

Ordered the KC steak special and requested medium rare. I can tell as soon as it was delivered it was going to be overcooked. Sure enough it was more of medium to medium well. It wasn't the worst thing and I wasn't going to send it back. The rough part was the steak was overly seasoned heavy with salt. I felt like I was eating a salt lick and couldn't even finish it. Maybe some of the other food is ok but for the price and taste, I wouldn't recommend.

( that's why there a picture of bubbles for TADC sticking out his tongue because that was the face I made while throwing up) Service A: it's great. Price and valueB: it's bit questionable, like why is the chicken strips $7.25 for 2 but $8.25 for 3 I don't know if the fries go with the chicken or not but it the fries didn't come with the chicken strips shouldn't it be $10.90, but I'm all right because the food kinda affordable, also can we talk about the portions like why are the chicken strips so huge but the fries were super tiny like even tinier than most places kids menus. AtmosphereA: there's the right amount of background noise, the tables were clean. The seating was great. ( besides some ribs on the couch table,) OverallB: it's a great place to eat in the hipster part of town just don't get the chicken strips.
