Marilyn might just be one of THE best psychics in the world! She helped me see and open up my own psychic gifts bigtime! The details that she has given me over the years has been astonishing. I am a professional psychic as well. (Megan Le Fey). Marilyn reads for many of us. A psychic to the psychics? Now you know she's good! She has given me accurate info on how to push forward as an actress, and on each man that was coming into my life. She has helped me to understand my soulmate relationships, and get on track with tough love when needed. I have gotten names, where they are from, random info like what I'm good at, etc. It gets as specific as you will be living in a house behind a house and meet lots of people from Florida. They already know your friends. There is someone in front of and behind camera coming in that will bring a lot of love in. etc. etc. She is always right!! So far, aside from free will wiggle room, she has been spot on for 4 years! She also takes her beliefs and ego out of the psychic info. She really channels directly! This is a rare gift boys and girls. Trust me. Marilyn is so popular that you need to book way in advance. Just do it. My life looks nothing like what it did four years ago when I met her. She and I don't believe in competition. Just the right 'energy' that a person needs at the time. I think she should have 10 stars out of 5. I also have to say that as an amazing psychic, I think she gets targeted by competitors on yelp. I don't believe that several of her bad reviews are even real! It does happen my loves. Marilyn, you are such a healer and a gift in my life. Thank you so much for everything. read more

Fake , has been, do not recommend! Condescending and judgmental. You can find more authentic and much better guidance!

Marilyn was a very nice person; however, none of her predictions came to pass, not even a single one. I waited a few years to finally write a review because I hoped that whatever she had said would eventually happen, but unfortunately it didn't. I had high hopes; especially because of what she had predicted was very positive. read more

So me and my homegirl are waiting in line, checking out the number of psychics they had up. "I want to go to that lady over there".. "Yea me too, she looks like she knows what she's doing"... So we sit down and this woman... O my GOD! She knew soooo much about me and my friend. Like spot on. She guessed my friends current relationship down to the month. she told her, about her open heart and how she gives too much. She guessed how the guy was in and out of her life (he's a marine). It was insane. So she gets to me and she tells me how I'm in a suppose to be cooking for people and having cooking parties for women. "That's funny"... "Do you agree?" "Yea, Ive always secretly wanted to do that...." Like people know I want to cook but, I've never shared with anyone (but my mom) that I want to do like cooking parties for women. So I start crying like a retard... And she's like, "that's how you know its real the spirits touching you". It was weird but, I guess she was guiding me. Strange. If I ever get some miscellaneous money, Ive GOT to see her again. She had such a good vibe and she didn't tell you what you want to hear, but what you NEED to hear. And she's cute... I don't know if that counts for anything... read more

I've only ever been read at corporate events, and I met Marilyn at the "Get Elemental" Yelp event this week. Sitting with Marilyn was probably one of the best readings I've ever had. She doesn't ask you much, just gets your vibe and starts talking. She is extremely candid and mentioned some things that kind of blew my mind. In particular, she picked up on my little side project and love of writing (not yelp reviews, either!), made some pretty dead on observations about my love life, and pinpointed some of my major concerns without me saying a word about them. She nailed it with my friend as well. In fact, when we were waiting my friend and I were talking about what question my friend may want to ask, and she jokingly said, "Will I ever get married?" 20 minutes later when it was my friend's turn and Marilyn asked her what question she might like answered at the end of her reading, my friend said she didn't really have one. In a classic moment Marilyn asked her, "You don't want to know if you're going to get married?" I wasn't sitting there so I didn't see it in person, but I would pay good money to see the expression on my friend's face when that happened! For me that pretty much sealed it. Sure, people can take a best guess about you, but the things Marilyn was saying were just spot on. read more

Wow! I didn't give Marilyn one bit of info about me and after sitting with me for less then 5 minutes, she said I needed to teach and in particular...children. Um, my major in college was Early Childhood education! She sensed other things about me as well, that were right on. It was amazing! She is amazing! I haven't had much experience with psychics or aura readers. I've only been a handful of times, and that was years ago. I have always believed in it, I know it's out there but I held doubt about who was "for real". But with Marilyn there is no doubt or question if she's for real. She is real and genuine! Marilyn gives off a caring and sweet vibe. She is gifted and I hope to be able to see her again. I think she can give clarity and help bring peace to things that are bothering you. read more

I'll preface this review by saying that like many people interested in seeing a medium/psychic, I was an "optimistic skeptic." I felt unsure, nervous, and a part of me questioned my own sanity for actually "wanting" to see a psychic when LA has plenty of reputable shrinks who could talk me through my concerns. What makes Marilyn so special was that she took the "skeptic" out of the equation for me. I did a half-hour session and in that time, she was able to answer the vast majority of questions that I had written up, but never verbalized. It was rather amazing! She talks very quickly, so I would encourage anyone going to see her to bring a recording device so that you can reflect on your session after it is over. I didn't ask many questions about my long-term future, but, I do feel as though this glimpse into the proverbial crystal ball did wonders for my courage. I lost my fear quickly and allowed myself to absorb what the spirits and guides were saying. Another high point for me was getting to send love to a close relative who had passed on. Hearing about this relative in the last five minutes was bliss alone, but the rest of the session was mesmerizing and pretty much spot on accurate. Highly recommend and look forward to returning to see her after I've done my spiritual homework. read more

Soooooooooooooooooo, you might think I'm crazy. Hey! I just might be. But, don't tell me that there hasn't been a time in your life where you feel completely and utterly confused, frustrated, cornered, etc etc... Well, maybe you don't, but I certainly have my moments. Twice now I have sought the advice of this woman. I don't know how the hell I ended up finding her. It was seriously a whim (that was gassed up with a certain coworker who went with me the first time). And, I think intuition also played a trick because I went straight to her reviews. Anyway, she is amazing. She is the real deal. And she won't tell you what your future is...she does tell you that you have free will and hold the power to make your destiny. Marilyn will also give you wonderful insight as to how to tap into your innermost best. I recently had a phone reading with her. She was spot on again and so sweet! Within the 2 years since I've last seen her though, I guess her career had taken off because now she has an assistant and it was not as easy to schedule an appointment with her. Def worth every minute and penny. read more

I did the reading session with her via phone, so I didn't meet up with her in person but amazingly, she could say everything in my mind right out. She said the specific situation I'm right now and it's exactly what I'm struggling with. First, before the session, she told me to write all questions down and get ready to be opened up. Once the session starts, she started answered everything out from my questions ,without asking anything from me. I don't know how she did it, but it's so amazing how the questions were answered without asking. My questions are not the common questions, very specific and personal , and she just said it out like the questions are in her hand. She has a long line of the reservation, but worth waiting and hope you could experience her once. read more

I got to tell you seeing Marilyn is as good as it gets.....It was as if I was speaking to my grandmother just incarnated in a younger human body...did I say my grandmother was no longer here on earth but she did make herself very present with the assistance of Marilyn. Her comfortability of speaking to the other side has made it very easy now for me to listen and watch for signs around me everyday. Her information from the other side has given me permission to live fully, not that I wasn't before but the clarity of answers and questions that Marilyn communicated with me was so SPECIFIC that I became aware that LIFE is FOREVER but there are things we are clearly here to complete. Thank you so much Marilyn for sharing my truth with me it has inable me to GET OFF the fence and take ACTION in the LIFE I am MEANT to live. Continued Love and success to each and every person you come in contact with. The world is yours..... Lonnie read more

I have only been to a Psychic three times in my life and have always been skeptical of them, but I recently lost my boyfriend and needed some closure and felt this was one of the ways to receive it. Out of my three times visiting a Psychic, I have seen Marilyn twice and she has always been spot on. She told me how my boyfriend was killed, that I had wrote something for him and did not read it at his funeral, she also informed me of a song that played on the radio quite often was him playing it for me (which was our song); she was so on target with many other aspects. I have recommended her to a few other co-workers and they have become repeat customers as well. My first visit with her was behind my Dad passing and she told me how he was having breathing problems when he passed, and she mentioned some of the other sicknesses he had before passing and some other things that he had done with us that made him such a great Father. Although I have only seen one other Psychic (who was a fraud), she is the best thus far!! read more

"I had a session with Marilyn in May. The most important thing that she did for me was to confirm all of my inner feelings about my life. I don't really trust my senses in my daily life, hesitating and doubting about making the right decision. So Marilyn helped me to start trusting myself more, to me it matters much more than any prediction that is subject to change anyway. I'm really grateful to Marilyn! As to predictions - they need time so i'll see how it goes." Tatiana read more

I didn't plan on doing a reading, I was with a friend who was interested. But since I was already there, I thought why not. I had just sat down when she started sensing energy from me and what she told me was amazingly accurate. Marilyn didn't need any object or information from me, just a few confirmations about on the things she was seeing. I was so blown away, I had schedule a full reading with her. I'm excited to see what else she sees for me. read more

I saw Marlyn about a year and half ago. I wanted to wait to review because some of the predictions were a year or so off. Anyway, like some other reviewers said, I felt like she was guessing a lot. She was saying things I REALLY didnt connect to, which was disappointing considering her reviews and the wait list to have a reading. The only thing she did get right was she predicted the name of my next boyfriend, who she said was that "one." I did date someone of 6 months with that name but *luckily* he wasnt the one, as he was a drug addict and alcoholic. read more

I saw Marilyn after several friends recommended me to her. I had two readings with her. She was very specific about my small business and my career and love life. Not a single thing she said came true; she predicted success for my business when in fact I had to close it. She said I'd be financially successful when in fact I had to declare bankruptcy. When I emailed her for a follow-up, she said she didn't remember who I was and suggested I contact her own personal guide, Stephanie Turachak, which I did, and she was even worse. My sister saw Marilyn too, and not a single word she said came true either. This is not a scam review--feel free to email me at chappelbaum@aol.com She was terribly disappointing and just wrong on every level. read more

I had a 15-minute phone reading with her months ago. It was interesting talking to her, but she didn't reveal anything about my past that was true, and her main prediction about my future was very vague. She said I would meet a guy with dark wavy hair, has something to do with music, and associated with the number 6. My current boyfriend has dark wavy hair and likes music, but I can't figure out what the 6 means. Lol, maybe I'm looking way too much into this. But I was searching for something more definite from her, something to prove to me that she's legit. The only thing that spooked me was when she said my mom's dad spirit is with me. That surprised me because she said as a factual statement and I never told her that my grandpa isn't alive. We ran out of things to talk about before the 15 minutes was up because she answered all my questions really quickly. She said I have some intuitive abilities of my own so I should tap into those so I wouldn't have to rely on psychics so much. This was is a really unselfish thing for her to tell a client. For the remainder of my session, she went through tips on how I could become more in tuned with my psychic abilities. I would much rather her have given me a longer reading, but she said she didn't have any other information for me. Bummer. Overall, it was an interesting 15 minutes, but I didn't gain too much from it. It was more entertaining than helpful. read more

I've never been much of a believer in psychics nor have I ever been curious to try it but while at the Yelp event, I asked myself why not? I got Marilyn and she was a very pleasant surprise. She just seemed to talk her way through a number of things without me having given her any info. It really blew me away. She said a lot of things that made me really think and reanalyze my life. It was a very affirming and enlightening experience. I would consider going back for a more detailed reading. read more

Though I went to Marilyn for career guidance I was also told I would be getting involved with a dancer/yoga instructor, younger than me, who was very "healthy food conscious" but not "too strict" and she even said what her name would sound like. She also said this would happen very soon and that we would have great sexual chemistry between us. Within two months I was invited to a party at the last minute and was dressed in the same clothes I was running errands in. Not too shabby but not too impressive either. To my surprise a stunning woman began to flirt with me. Within two minutes I was stunned to learn her vocation, name, age matched the description in the reading. When she brought up her dietary habits I had to fight keep my jaw off the floor. That was two months ago. It has been a little difficult to "go out" on dates because we can't seem to keep our clothes on for longer than ten minutes after I arrive at her home. We are both blown away by this and it was she who suggested I share this on Yelp. As far as the career guidance it is too early to tell but their have been "signs" that all will unfold as Marilyn said. read more

I don' know who wrote the review that gave Marilyn only 1 star or what issue they were having, but I get the sense that they must have the wrong Marilyn! I host a show where I get to interview the top psychics and mediums from around the world and I have to tell you that Marilyn is among the best of the best! I have had a couple of private readings with Marilyn and not only is she right on the mark with the events that are going on in my life, she also provides insights and suggestions that have helped me to make huge strides in taking full advantage of the opportunities I am being presented with. I highly recommend Marilyn. A reading with her is an investment in yourself that will pay dividends! read more

Having never been to a psychic or medium before, I wasn't sure what to expect. Marilyn turned out to be spot on accurate -- describing my loved ones who had passed, even telling me when and how they passed, and seeing clearly where I am now. But just as importantly, she was very nurturing and inspiring. I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. I really enjoyed the reading. I also feel like I got everything I needed for now, and don't need to go back for a while. In the meantime, she (and her spirit guides) gave me plenty of suggestions that I'm going to slowly implement. In fact, within a few days of the reading, several of her suggestions easily manifested, and I didn't have to go looking for them. My overall takeaway is that I know I'm on the right path, I just need to trust in it and keep going. Marilyn was very helpful in that regard. I highly recommend her, even to skeptics like me. read more

Marilyn's gentleness, her glowing spirit and her patience make her the perfect choice for anyone looking for guidance, support and instruction. She has already helped me tremendously in the short time I have been working with her material and using her techniques. I only wish I could study under her and dedicate more time to what she has exposed me to. It is life changing. I have known her for many years and she is trustworthy and a good friend on top of being a nurturing guide and advisor. I cannot give a stronger recommendation. Don't doubt, trust. Marilyn is a truly gifted medium, I first went to her last year for a reading then another reading..then I signed up for a 6 month class that truly changed my life. I have learned so much from Marilyn and greatly value the time that I spent in the classes with her. I cannot believe it took me this long to review this woman. My first time seeing Marilyn was in 2010, I was stereotypically "lost" in life and found myself yelping psychics and mediums (I had never ever considered this type of guidance until now). For some reason, I was led to Marilyn's page and decided why not. In just 30 minutes, she awoke a side of me I had never tapped into. She is specific, accurate, and by far one of the most beautiful people I have ever met (inside and out). I still seek her gifts and insight to this day, because they so often prove to be the light I need. To those considering a session with Marilyn, I am ENCOURAGING you to go. If I could give her 6 or 7 stars I would. read more

Marilyn's classes lead you down the path to greater spiritual and psychic clarity with an effortlessness and mastery of the subject that makes the journey fun and inspiring. Through surrendering to the process, letting go of judgement and listening to the inner voice, the student learns under Marilyn's guidance that those very same concepts -- surrendering, letting go of judgement, listening, and especially "going with the flow" -- are the exact driving forces behind developing psychic abilities and living to our fullest potential. A reading with Marilyn is a powerful experience that provides a lot of clarity on the direction you are heading and great insight into next steps. It's truly an amazing experience. read more

I have always been open to the idea of going to see a medium and when I saw the reviews on Yelp for Marilyn, I was anxious to have my first reading. Something hit me when I saw Marilyn's website, intuition. This was the person that I was meant to go to. No question whatsoever in my mind. The experience I had with Marilyn nothing short of amazing. While nervous at first (who wouldn't be!), I felt a connection to nearly every piece of information that I was given in my reading. My intuition continued to tell me that everything that was happening (meeting Marilyn, being right there at that moment, the gifts I was being given) was "truth". Since my first reading was concentrated solely on connecting with the deceased, I returned for a life reading a few months later. It took me a bit to digest everything I had learned in my initial reading, but I was excited to return for the life reading. The life reading was eye opening. I walked away from that reading feeling more powerful than ever and ready to live life to it's fullest, in complete control. I've continued on my spiritual/psychic journey with Marilyn ever since and have been touched and amazed by the most fantastic teachers and peers along the way. I am truly blessed. My experience with Marilyn has significantly impacted my life and I look forward to what the future holds. read more

I'm a major skeptic. Marilyn changed all that. Not only did she help me get in touch with those who have crossed-over, she taught me to do it on my own. Marilyn is natural teacher and healer. And the most amazing part about her is that she's so down to earth. She doesn't hide behind crystal balls or magic potions. She's the kind of person you can just sit down and have coffee with. Thanks to Marilyn, I now trust my intuition with skills that only Marilyn could teach me. read more

I've been to a few psychics, so I'm used to being a little disappointed, but that was not the experience I had with her at all. She was extremely encouraging and enlightening to things that I've vaguely felt and have been struggling with. She hit so many points head on and I've never heard someone read my life so accurately. It's weird to think that someone can be a pro at mind reading, but I could tell she's read countless minds with how gentle she was at presenting my info to me. She could tell how I was interpreting what she said without me saying a word. It might be the most helpful 30 minutes of my life. read more

If you need help with that and need some extra guidance, I highly recommend a half hour sitting with her. I met Marilyn last summer and I've stuck with her ever since. She has been instrumental in aiding me to clearly see what it is I want to manifest in my life and CLEARLY identifies spirits who want to communicate. there is NO question that she is gifted...I hope to be one day as well! I then enrolled in a 6 month ongoing phone course with 7 other people spread out over the US and it was nothing short of amazing. It really changes your life when someone draws something in los angeles and we all draw the same thing AND one lady in new york describes it perfectly - mindblowing. Sitting in a little cabin in the woods on the East Coast a few years ago I decided I wanted to seek a little spiritual guidance when I returned home to LA. The cabin's name was Moonridge, so when Marilyn came up on Yelp I knew she was the one. Since my initial meeting with her I have come to value her passion, honesty and talent. She is the real deal, but what makes her truly special is how genuine she is. She is truly committed to helping you find your own way, empowering you through your own intuition, learning to talk to your own guides. I have taken her 6 month tele-class... (great) and a day long seminar she co-taught (also great) which I hope she offers again. Whenever I am involved in her classes/seminars my life comes alive with signs and mini-miracles, totally fun! No doubt there are mediums out there that can read you - but if you, like me are interested in guidance in your spiritual journey there is no one better than Marilyn - I am super lucky she lives in LA!! read more

I am THRILLED to be doing this work with Marilyn. She is an AMAZING teacher. It's hard for me to describe just how much information, support and guidance I have received since I started taking her classes. I've learned so much about myself and am still learning and expanding with the tools that she has shown me how to use. It's a lifetime worth of knowledge and inspiration that if you're ready to be open & listen to can really open your heart and change your life. I feel that I can move forward on my path in a way that I could never have before. Her guided meditations are so powerful, they awaken & inspire me to be alive and aware of my soul and my life's purpose. I'm an artist and have empathic abilities. I've always been extremely sensitive to energies ; noise, light, smells, people, rooms, spirits, nature, you name it. By working with my guides I have learned to ground & protect myself from being a sponge for energies that don't serve me and to channel my energy in a much more constructive & positive way. Your spirit guides are a constant support system and teach you how to trust your instincts. That is invaluable. Marilyn is loving, graceful, smart, humble, clear, energetic, kind and very generous. Her ability to open her heart and show us all how to tune in to our own intuition & natural abilities is remarkable. AND she's a damned good psychic. Right on. Thank you Marilyn!! I'm not sure what rating to give Marilyn.. As much as some of her readings were spot on, but other things were very vague. She also mentioned me being featured on TV and being in New York and I'm not sure if this is a trend in her readings, but a girl below has also said the same thing (being on TV and in NY) which makes me incredibly skeptical. What I was left with were more questions rather than answers but that may just be my problem. I'd say the accuracy level was at most 90%, the 10% is yet to be determined. Some of the interests she cited were something I'm personally against or completely disinterested in. All in all, Marilyn is a kind person and I truly think she believes in what she does and isn't seeking to deceive others. read more
