As an indie, out of town band on tour wanting to book time to do a small rehearsal/showcase we feel like they have really tried to take advantage of us. We had a specific understanding of what the cost of the space would be, but then they tried to bully us into paying more - their reasoning was that it took extra time for us to load our van, even though our equipment was out of the studio space for hours as we had to navigate a humongous rave style party during our load out. Full list of issues -- 1. When we arrived, there was a huge party setting up in the surrounding facility. This wasn't that big of a deal, but it did cause a significant delay to our own load in process as we had to work around the setup that was happening. 2. When we loaded out, this full rave style party was in full swing. Again, no big deal but any safe method of transferring gear from a loading dock to the ground was removed. We had to carefully maneuver 100+ lb loads of gear without any stairs or ramps, putting us at significant risk (as well avoiding the crowds of people and making sure all of our gear was accounted for). We had to take our time to meticulously load our gear as to not cause damage to the equipment or harm to ourselves. In all, it took 2-3 hours to load out and pack our gear because of this. 3. The PA that they provided us with was old and falling apart. Many dead channels on their mixing board and at least 3 blown speakers made for a harrowing sound. If we didn't supplement with our own speakers it would have been a complete loss. For the owner to come back and try to charge us for the time it took us to load our gear out really put a bad taste in our mouth. They tried to overcharge us by 2-3x the original amount quoted. We don't recommend that any other band use this rehearsal space. Stay away!

Honest Review -- Proceed with Caution…read more I've worked with this studio several times in the past and initially had decent experiences, but my most recent booking was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I had a large session fully scheduled, with a deposit paid, artists flying in, and a full camera crew lined up. Just days before the session, the owner called to cancel because another client offered to pay more. This wasn't just a small inconvenience -- flights were booked, people's schedules were set, and an entire production team was impacted. A studio that values money over integrity is not a reliable business partner. I want to warn anyone considering booking here to be very careful. When someone can disregard your time, your deposit, and your professional plans for a bigger payout, that speaks volumes about their business ethics. There are plenty of other studios that operate with honesty and respect for their clients. Unfortunately, this one does not.

David was very helpful despite our eleventh hour insanity, and was even willing to send the duo out without having received our second contract.
