Every Wednesday, my hubby and I enjoy what we call Wednesday's night out. This is where we pick a restaurant that we've never gone to before and enjoy a meal and a cocktail. We decided on doing this back in June! so far we are still stuck on the Marietta Square. We've enjoyed numerous cocktails From the third door down. pizza from Marietta Pizza Company, food from Willie social bar. Cocktails from the Red Hair, empanadas, cocktails, and Asian food from tsunami Taqueria, ham burgers from the Stock yard, and some the best wings and frozen drinks from the Frozen Goose!! We are not done yet. We have plenty more places to visit and plenty more cocktails to drink. We will see you soon.

Marietta is a beautiful square with a park in the middle, playground, seating etc. It is surrounded with limited free parking and plenty of restaurants, some shopping and things to do. It is nice to walk around and just hang out. There are parking garages within walking distance.

The best place in Cobb County to go for a date, meal, shopping, etc. a safe and exciting place to walk around and experience fun factor that gives without ceasing. Eclectic and interesting cultural experiences await you. Many weekends throughout the year they offer farmers market and craft guilds. Truly a place to be anytime of the year day or night.

Great area! I wish I knew this place was this active a long time ago! We found all kinds of cool random shops in the area, not to mention some really good tacos ! The food court had a ton of great selections to try and the staff were all friendly and seemed happy to be working. We lucked out and found a few good deals while we were here thankfully, so all in all I'd say it was a great afternoon.

Lots to do here, including the Gone with the Wind Museum, antique stores, restaurants, specialty shops and the Marietta market. Great walking area. Place for kids to play, The Stand Theater has a cool rooftop area. And yes, there's a Starbucks. Wink wink.

Marietta Square is a very charming area in the downtown historic area. Parking was a little challenging but after driving around a block once I found one. This was a spontaneous visit so I really didn't have any specific plans so I just went for a stroll, window shopped and completed some actual shopping as well. There's a nice selection of restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and everyone I interacted with was pretty friendly. I absolutely loved the Local (see review). The square has a beautiful fountain that is the focal point with benches for you to sit down, it's located at Glover Park. There's also a replica of Liberty Bell and a play area for kids. I would definitely visit again and dine at a restaurant next time or see a play. Apparently this is THE PLACE to go for Pokémon Go players. The shops here must be LOVING the increased foot traffic.

Been to a wedding and a couple of concerts here. Love the Strand Theater, but besides that I haven't explored too much.

Right around August or end of July every single year the boy Scout does a big huge yard sale out in the front parking lot.
