I saw the restaurants, the sushi restaurants and the peach pizza. They served delicious meals. I loved the Margherita pizza with peach pie. And I loved the sushis and the appetizer of that sushi restaurant. The trees and the flowers were beautiful. The Apple Store employees were very kind and helpful. It is a quite expensive shopping area, however it is worth it. The gelato store was pretty, I had gotten some ice cream while walking around, it was lovely. The peach pizza area had a giant television, the kids were playing ball, and parents were sitting down, everyone was watching the soccer game with excitement and joy.

I believe that the only restaurant in Lakeside Marketplace is Panera Bread. I visit the restaurants that surround Lakeside Marketplace quite often: Longhorn Steakhouse, Taco Bell, Steak & Shake & Panda Express. I've also used the dry cleaner here and patronized many of the shopping center's restaurants over the years. Except for Subway, I think all of the restaurant tenants have completely turned over in the past two decades. This isn't a nice shopping center nor has it ever really been, but some improvements have been made over the last several years such as a complete repaving of the parking lot and renovations to all the storefronts. The relatively new tenant mix, which includes businesses such as Bao Bun Cafe and Newk's Eatery, have been welcome additions too. Howell Mill Square is in a high-traffic area just off the interstate (I-75) and not far from Midtown, Georgia Tech, Atlantic Station, Westside, and Buckhead. Here's a selected list of tenants, in no particular order, and my brief comment or thought on each. If you really care (I'll be shocked if you do), you can read my full review for each tenant by following their respective Yelp link below. Current/Active Tenants: * American Deli - https://www.yelp.com/biz/american-deli-atlanta-12 Standard junk-foody wings, fries, fried fish, and sandwiches. * Bao Bun Cafe - https://www.yelp.com/biz/bao-bun-cafe-atlanta Good Taiwanese food, now offering hibachi (probably to sustain business). * Chin Chin - https://www.yelp.com/biz/chin-chin-howell-mill-atlanta-11 An OK sit-down restaurant for Chinese and sushi. * Elite Cleaners - https://www.yelp.com/biz/elite-cleaners-atlanta An OK dry cleaner with drive-thru service. * Kroger - https://www.yelp.com/biz/kroger-atlanta-6 Updated in the last few years, it looks better than it used to. Decent selection and reasonable prices. Beats Walmart next door sometimes. * Newk's Eatery - https://www.yelp.com/biz/newks-eatery-atlanta-4 Decent place for healthy food. * Royal Alterations - https://www.yelp.com/biz/royal-alterations-atlanta My go-to alterations shop. I love Laura, the owner. * Subway - https://www.yelp.com/biz/subway-atlanta-198 Just your standard Subway, but a little older and dirtier. Old/Closed Tenants: * El Amigo Mexican Restaurant - https://www.yelp.com/biz/el-amigo-mexican-restaurant-atlanta Cheap Mexican food and beer. Popular among Tech students when it was open. * Mama Niki's Pizza - https://www.yelp.com/biz/mama-nikis-pizza-atlanta Another Tech hangout. Yep, Howell Mill Square used to have a pizzeria. * Piccadilly Cafeteria - https://www.yelp.com/biz/piccadilly-atlanta-5 Old-school cafeteria. The food was good/fine, but the place always looked dated, even in the early 2000s. A location of The Juicy Crab replaced Piccadilly in 2020. I'll be returning to Howell Mill Square regularly for many years to come because it's close to my home.
