One of the better parks in Berlin. In contrast to most area green spaces, there is relatively…read morelittle graffiti, piles of trash, ongoing drug deals, and other scenes of people embarrassing their mothers. Even better, the playground structures are interesting and in great shape. Sure, the ground is mostly sand, but there are a few areas off to the side with regular dirt/grass or wood chips. The benches are also about 80% usable, which might be a record for Berlin.
The park as a whole has several different paths, some quieter than others, and lots of little surprises of nature around every corner - a pond, a Swiss restaurant, a rose garden, an amphitheater (sadly one of the more notable spots of graffiti is here). The park is along the Teltow Canal as well, so connects directly to other green spaces. The surrounding neighborhood has many of smaller restaurants and ice cream stands.
