Marie and her staff gave my case 1001% even though they stay in demand! If it can be accomplished, they will make it happen!!

Marie Mattox is fantastic!! She is honest, very smart and very experienced. Ms. Mattox was always available to me. Her staff as well as Katherine Viker, who is an attorney is Ms. Mattox's firm, is also very savvy, experienced and compassionate. Absolutely, Marie was not the right choice for our case and would never recommend her to anyone. She was unprofessional and her narcissistic personality never gave room to listen intently to the facts that were presented to her. No matter how much raw evidence we provided, Marie was too volatile to hold onto valuable Paralegals ​who left the job throughout our case causing us to have to restart with new employees multiple times. By the time our case was finally heard in a preliminary court hearing, Marie didn't come to the table with the most pertinent and vital facts that would have at the very least won our case to move forward in a full court hearing. Instead, the defense lawyer simply used hearsay non fact statements that a child could have used to get the Judge to drop the case without further review. We wasted 3 years on Marie's incompetencies and narcissistic methods that never gave us any opportunity to be informed every step of the way as her belligerent mission statement suggests. No return phone calls and IF she gave you a minute of her time, she rushed the conversation and she never came prepared. The conversation was useless as she never remembered who we were, what the case entailed and each conversation made you realize Marie had not read anything she asked us to provide. We emailed the same information multiple times to the point to which one Paralegal finally admitted that it was because Marie kept letting Paralegals go and new ones needed us to resend files over and over. The entire situation was a nightmare and Marie did not care how unprofessional she conducted herself. Marie does not add value to the judicial system or to any case she has been a part of. She may advertise her large financial wins but don't be fooled, she has more failed cases then wins and if you see how she piles everyone's files on the floor of her office like a case graveyard you would fully understand the number of failures. Her unprofessional narcissistic attitude far surpasses the importance of having a lawyer you can trust to represent your case with all of the knowledge of the laws required to do a quality job. Very unorganized, my case was idle for years, paperwork lost for over a year, that was sent to them that they misfiled, paralegals who constantly made typos on legal documents, passed around to different firm employees. Contacted bar to complain and that's when she refused to represent me after that, case was pending after she quit in the middle of case. No lawyer would touch it after her. Highly recommend a firm that handles clients better. It appeared to me they will take tons of cases, then do not have the staff to handle all the cases, so some clients cases go to hell, because to much time passes before they address the cases. read more

Very poor customer service...put agreement in writing that they'd find an attorney to help me then did not come through casing me to withdraw my complaint in District Court after waiting so long to get to that point.to quote what they said which never happened: "Marie is in the process of locating an Attorney, but we have not yet finalized that decision as of yet. We will inform you of counsel as soon as Marie locates counsel." I provided testimony to their law firm resulting in a windfall for their firm...unfortunately they did not offer funding for expert witness testimony, thus, I got nothing...except being without an attorney when I needed help. read more
