It felt like gallbladder pain, but I didn't have stones--my gallbladder emptying was only 32%, which is the low end of normal. None of the doctors I saw could help me, and I was feeling hopeless. I decided to try acupuncture and found Flourish Integrative Health after reading their amazing reviews. From my very first call, the owner was so kind and informative. She recommended I see Jen Potthast, who has a lot of experience with the kind of issues I was having. I loved Jen from the beginning--she truly took her time to listen and understand everything I was feeling. I immediately felt calmer after our first session. After just four weekly sessions, all of my symptoms were completely gone. I continue to go because it's such an incredible experience. The treatments aren't painful at all--during each session I feel like I'm floating, and afterward I feel amazing, even better than after a massage. I highly, highly recommend giving acupuncture at Flourish Integrative Health a try--especially with Jen Potthast. She really knows her stuff and has made such a difference in my life!

Amber, the weekend manager, was amazing at getting us settled - the first caravan we were in had a minor issue with water pressure, but Amber got us moved to fully functioning unit in no time (and even offered to help schlep our stuff!). We slept like logs listening to the creek gently babbling all night, and the STARS at night! Amazing! The variety of water temps is fantastic, the steam room and dry sauna are ideal, and the locker rooms are new and roomy. We'll be back!

Their waters are treated with ozone and peroxide... naturally, and the soaking pools use natural hot spring water. I suggest going from the hot water to the cold by the river, back and forth, being in the meditation of this rhythm with nature. I've been visiting these sacred grounds for the past 20 years. It's great to see Harbin grounds coming back into flow more and more. Praying they rebuild the yoga dome. This is a healing retreat, clothing optional at the pools, with a membership fee and rules to follow, so be respectful when you go. Sure, the place changed a lot after being completely burned to the ground-- so many years were spent making it what it was, and it was the layers of the years and the attention to details infused in the process over those years that had made the grounds and dwellings of Harbin so amazing. Now, much of that has been replaced with trailers and such. But the pools, specifically the hot and cold, are the same; the coy fish too, and some of the domes. Make sure your expectations are aligned. Less complaining, more appreciation. That said, the prices have gone up significantly for daily rates since the fire, and that's a bummer.

With his mother's total agreement he swung the bat, aiming directly at her back shoulder and hit her with a good amount of force. To my amazement she turned around with a big grin on her face. She felt no pain. The sensation was quite the opposite and actually invigorated her. I could see in her face and hear in her voice that she had somehow become more alive. I was intrigued, to say the least. Since that day 4 years ago, Qi gong has become an integral part of my life. The Jingui method along with stellar instruction and guidance has benefited my life in deeply meaningful ways. Qi Gong has been the impetus for my physical, mental and emotional transformation. I believe this training is quite profound in its ability to achieve its most basic objectives: health and wellness. What it offers in addition to that is incredibly powerful. Darren creates a fun class environment and has thoughtfully supports each student throughout the entire process. He is completely free of judgement and completely full of praise. His big heart and authentic character are a testament to the training itself. The best way to learn more is to check out one of the introductory classes held in Corte Madera or Santa Cruz.
