Meet the Business Owner: Fernando G.
Fernando grew up in a musical family with older brothers who played mariachi in the valley since the 1960s. He started performing as a child and was already working as a professional musician by age 12.
Over the years, Fernando has performed with and for well-known artists, including Vicente Fernández, Juan Gabriel, Vikki Carr, and Lalo Guerrero. His career has taken him to stages, casinos, television, and film productions throughout California and Nevada.
Today, Fernando leads Mariachi Coachella, sharing his love of música mexicana with new generations. He also supports music education, offering free music lessons to children through community outreach.
For Fernando, mariachi is more than music. It’s family, tradition, and a way to bring people together. Whether it’s a serenata for someone special or a full mariachi group for a celebration, he wants every performance to feel personal and memorable.
