Loyal, good, faithful customer for over a decade. Have enjoyed the staff, have done my best to be…read morefriendly but today, as I asked for poppers, I was abruptly told I couldn't use the "P word." I must say "Cleaner." Okay. That's fine, so I asked for "Cleaners." No, (again abruptly) you can't purchase them today. Not for another 24 hours. What? He told me he was on camera, pointing to somewhere in the ceiling. I was confused. Never had I had an experience where I suddenly was treated like a bad customer. I asked what Rita (the Mger) would say. He called and I was told to come back when there was a new staff person. What? Here's the thing. They don't want anyone to say the "P word", well, at least put up a sign warning folks like me not to do it. Instead, it becomes a secret policy. That's not right nor fair. Put a sign saying "We don't sell Poppers. Don't ask for them. We do have Cleaners. But they're not Poppers." Something. Anything. The inconvenience of getting to the store and now figuring when I'll get back -- and honestly, I don't want to go back. I'm not a bad customer. I'd like to think of myself as a nice guy, friendly and always following the rules (when I know the rules) but I feel like now I am a bad, undesirable customer who's been punished. Loyalty to the store means nothing. Absolutely nothing. But that was my experience. I think this store can and should do much better.
