It is extremely unethical to accept the best offer on a home as the selling agent only to cut commission so that the best offer stays within their realtor team. It's a dual agent sale and this is what was done to me which in my opinion shows this realtor and his team's poor character and lack of ethical practices. There are plenty of other trustworthy and honest realtors in NJ to choose from!

She came over and gave us advice on the house, pretty much she laid it out as: if you want to sell at $x, then you need to do this this and this, but if you are OK with $z, then you only have to do this and this. She also told us what to expect with the market and when would be best to buy or sell in different scenarios. Having Jenn present these options showed us that she is more than just your regular run-of-the-mill realtor, she genuinely cares about her clients.

My boss introduced me to Rahul Ramchandani--he had bought his own home through him and thought…read moreRahul would be the best person to help me find my first one. I spoke to Rahul the same day, and we met on a rainy evening, December 11th around 6 PM to see one home. From that day until I finalized my home, he helped me through every step of the process. As a first-time homebuyer, I wasn't aware of many details--how things work with lenders, mortgages, titles, inspections, etc. Rahul guided me through it all. He was always easy to reach via text or phone. Even if he missed a call, he would make sure to call back and check on my questions. We finalized our home in March 2025 and closed at the end of May (ironically, I found the listing myself on Zillow--haha!). But throughout the entire purchase process, whether it was dealing with the seller's agent, attorney, or mortgage lender, Rahul made it much easier for me. Even after closing, I'm still in touch with Rahul for various home-related questions. He continues to guide me and has even referred me to reliable contractors. One more thing--he's genuinely a polite, soft-spoken person who listens. He's not one of those agents who just talks over you. His calm demeanor really reflects his maturity and experience in the field. His team was also involved on a couple of occasions. I didn't get a chance to interact with Smitha, but I did meet Laura and Marta. Marta was present during the inspection and final walkthrough--and she was equally helpful. I'd definitely recommend him if you're looking for someone to help with your future home! They really know what they're doing!

I contacted Tezeta Roro approximately one year before I was ready to sell my home. Upon knowing…read morewhat my hopes were and my reasons for selling, she provided helpful community information and resources throughout the year. When I was ready to sell, Tez scheduled a consultation to better acquaint me with the process and with her qualifications. More importantly, she asked about my expectations. After the initial consultation, I was convinced that Tez was the person that I wanted to work with on the sale of my home. One of the most helpful aspects of the pre-listing process was that Tez looked at my house and the property and suggested things that I should do before my home was listed to make the process go smoothly. Her experience and knowledge led me to trust her suggestions and to follow through. She referred contractors and companies who did excellent work. That is a key aspect of her approach. She is gracious and knowledgeable. She guides but does not demand. Tez clearly presented options, but left the decisions to me as the seller. She remained in contact throughout the process and always followed up on the work that was to be done. It reinforced my position that she was the right person to work with. When my home was listed and showings began, she provided feedback - always keeping me aware of potential buyers' perceptions. We weighed the offers and made an informed decision. Communication was key to reducing the stress of selling my home. I, unfortunately, always prepare for the possibility that something will go wrong. Throughout the process of obtaining a contract to the day of the final closing, Tez clearly explained the timeline, what to expect, and eased any anxiety. It has been years since I sold a house, but this time was the most efficient. Tez is a professional who is so gracious. She works very hard for her clients. I can now move forward with the hope that I expressed to her during our first consultation. She was exceptional!

I've been with Tez…read moreas my realtor for over 5 years through a rental of a home, buying two homes and selling one and she has been pivotal every step away. Her knowledge for realty and the process of selling and acquiring properties makes you feel safe and comfortable even when making difficult decisions. Her warmth and kindness takes so much stress off of a very stressful situation. With Tez as my realtor I do not ever worry about the process, I know everything will get done; questions will be asked and answered, all i's will be dotted, and all t's will be crossed. But aside from being an amazing realtor she is an advocate and a strong community leader in West Orange, and a person I look up to. She's integral to the people that she works with, lives with and loves and you feel that and know that working with her. She gives you guidance for life not just for realty and when you're making some of the biggest decisions of your life that is what you need. Working with Tez I always felt empowered and heard. Her knowledge of all the surrounding cities in northern Jersey and beyond is incredible as well. It is what helped me make the correct decision for my family as far as where to live. We just sold our home and I know the only reason that it sold as quickly as it did is because of Tez and her promotion, ideas and input. Selling a home was by far harder than buying one and I can't truly state in words how Tez's guidance and reassurance through the process kept me and my family sane. We just bought our forever Home with Tez and as happy as I am, it makes me a little sad that I might not get to use Tez as a realtor for a while. Once you meet her you'll know why she will become so much more than realtor she'll become your friend.
