When I was describing why I needed pain meds she literally laughed at me and said no! She sent me away and told me if I wanted pain medication I would have to see various specialists for the ailments I was describing to her and she proceeded to say that she will not be willing to medicate me for the problems I was describing ... After making appointments with the various specialists, then having to wait for appointments and still being in pain, it turns out I have needed three various surgeries since seeing her and the surgeries were all for the exact reasons she laughed at me and refused to treat my pain seriously over .... I now no longer need pain medication because I have had the problems fixed. If I would have continued seeing her, I would have just lived in Pain and never got the problems fixed since she thought it was comical that I was having the medical issues I was describing to her and did not take me seriously. I would not recommend this Dr. at all!

They just moved into the offices from another office, so the only downside is it was inviting at first how bare it was with no decorations and boxes everywhere. She took her time with me. My veins had collapsed years ago for another medical condition so I was worried they were gonna poke and prod my arm. She gently took her time finding my small vein and got it the first time without picking my arm out like other doctors in the past. On top of that she did it herself, not a nurse. Glad I found a good doctor in SOC to get my physicals done!

That should not be novel for opiate recovery treatment, but sadly it is. But, even the best doctor, is only as good as his staff. And here is where his practice shines. Suki, his front office guru, is without question, the single best front office medical person I've dealt with! She is smart, reliable, helpful and just as compassionate and kind as Dr. S! Seriously, if you are looking for a suboxone doctor, stop, you've found who you should go to. They even take most or every insurance (PPO, not sure if any HMO). If you see a suboxone doctor, but don't feel like they are giving you the best care, or especially if their front office isn't great about prior authorizations and insurance issues, then you need to switch! Look, I never write reviews and I've already been a patient for over a year, but they so consistently knock my socks off with service that feels more like a nice hotel than a doctor's office, I just had to write this one. P.S. the kicker? I can make same or next day appointments pretty regularly, they always find ways to accommodate you, that's just how they roll. Thank you to the best doctor and staff I've ever worked with!

Best of all, he genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to help them and give them the highest quality medical care. A neat perk is that they have a pharmacy kiosk right in their office so that you can get your prescriptions right then and there which is amazing and so convenient not having to drive to a pharmacy - especially if you're feeling ill! I have been searching for a top notch primary care doctor since I moved to Orange County over a decade ago and I couldn't find anyone truly outstanding (so I kept switching after bad or lackluster experiences) and so I turned once again to Yelp, and although he didn't have many reviews, all of Dr Wong's reviews were 5-stars so I decided to make an appointment and I'm soooooo glad I did because Dr Wong is even better than the primary care doctor I had up in LA who was also outstanding but what sets Dr Wong as even better is that you can just feel how much he cares and wants to help you. His empathy and compassion are really next level. When you add that to him being extremely smart and super well versed in all of the gold standard plus latest medical practices he is truly the best of the best!
