Heard great things about this restaurant. Hotel suggested it. Saturday evening, solo, traveling on business. Deliberately arrived early, 8 pm, only 2 out of 40+ tables had guests. Asked the head waiter, dinner for one please. He was nice about it but shook his head, noooo, we have no tables available?!!! Not until 10 pm. All tables were empty, it was 8 pm. After dinner elsewhere (thank you great Ciccia Lische), i returned with Italian translation saying "As an executive of a famous company, traveling solo on business, it's a pity to not feel welcome. One small table, probably before any of your reservations arrived. By far the hidden gem in all of Italy. Pietrasanta is blessed to have a restaurant with combination of great service, food, and atmosphere. A definite place to visit in morning for breakfast, for lunch, and evening for dinner. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Absolute must stop! read more

I come to the beach for seafood and the fritto misto (mixed fried seafood and vegetables) is delightful.... not a heavy fried but a light batter - so light that I still have room for the pudding called catalana... amazing and affordable right across from the pier in Tonfano. make a trip there and after take a walk on the pier... a wonderful seaside experience...
