They completed the job on September 27th 2025 and I moved in on September 29th 2025. When I first saw the completed job I was very surprised because it didn't look like the sample that I had picked out. I called my salesman and explain to him that it looked a lot darker than what I expected and I hung up with no explanation and definitely no satisfaction. I expected my salesperson to inspect the job let me know what happened, because I thought perhaps the wrong product was used. In short, when you lay laminate floor or any tile floor it has duplicate patterns throughout, you must be very aware of placement so you don't repeat the pattern over and over again. This job cost me $15,300 and although the job was installed beautifully, every bit of the pattern was incorrect and patterns repeated everywhere and in big spots there were sections that were huge that were all dark tiles and there were other sections that were almost White, even a whiteboard right up the middle of all this dark and all of a sudden it became apparent that whoever installed the floor was not familiar with the right way to do it and this probably was one of their first jobs. My kitchen has at least five different sets of pattern as you walk across it and each one is two to three boards thick that's that's a side by side by side. The living room has some huge sections of dark that go into the dining room that turn white that go into one of the bedrooms and turn dark again. All of this is open and can be seen easily the entire apartment has the same problem I'm not just talking about a spot here and there I'm talking about whoever installed this open one box at a time installed it and grabbed another box. What should have happened is that there should have been at least three boxes open and they should have been aware of pattern. Norman carpet came out and told me they were going to fix the problem and although I did not want them in my house any longer because I'm 77 I'm disabled and there's Furniture everywhere and boxes everywhere and now I have to have them rip up the entire floor. Well I was willing to do that afterthought and got a proposal from my salesman that the place must be empty and I might have to repaint spots including the quarter round and I almost lost my mind. I called up and I told him I want a partial refund I want money back for this problem they refuse to do it and now I have no other alternative but to call in another company or two and find that the extent of the damages and take them to court where they belong. In conclusion the installation was very good the technique was very bad the outcome was also very bad, 15,300 later and it wasn't worth it.

He sent me over there by myself to roam and then look for him five minutes later. It was clear throughout that he was trying to upsell me. He did not mention engineered flooring as an option until I brought it up. I had to ask a few times for pricing on the samples I was looking at. When I left I found that he conveniently did not price out for me the only engineered flooring option. I purposely returned on a day he wasn't working with my samples. I put down the sample and said I think I'm just going to leave. He didn't even put his head up. No apology, nothing.

There are a number of area rugs hanging to the side of the entrance. The first series are reduced 20% off the marked price. (I don't know if we came across a sale or if this is their usual policy.) Towards the back are clearance rugs -- which is where I found mine! A nicely crafted Calvin Klein rug originally listed for $999, which I got for $299. (Whether it's true or not, our salesman said it would have retailed for about $1400 in other stores.) I'm happy!
