I've paid over $100 to Fogo de Chao for battleship grey meat. These guys fed to $20 for a meal of beef, pork, and mushroom and $7 for beer vino & tapas beef cheek plates!

Now, being from NYC, I've had my fair share of several different styles of pizza, from "authentic" Italian to NY style thin crust to Chicago deep dish to artisanal styles. I have to say, Pizza Metro is excellent authentic Italian pizza, as well as the appetizers and deserts. A party of 4 had lunch here after a nice long tour of the wonderful Alhambra. We ordered a meter long pizza (very cool, the only place to get a meter long pizza in Spain, I believe). We were allowed to mix the toppings in different quadrants of the pizza how we wanted it. We also order a mixed appetizer dish of fried finger food, a fresh salad, and a fresh buffalo mozzarella dish. All were wonderful. The ingredients tasted very fresh and well prepared. We finished it off with some limoncello gelato, which also hit the spot. The service was great. I can't recommend this place more. A++.

If you make a trek to the beach in Granada while you're in Spain and you're tired of paella and meat with French fries, give this place a try. The eggplant Parmesan (0r Melanzane a la Parmigiana) is amazing! And the woman owner and the waiter (Andrea) are so sweet, they'll stand there and chat with you and keep you company if you're alone! And it's just across the street from the beach. The view is just as good but a lot less crowded.
