The staff at the store was very friendly and helpful. He told me that it is a family business that his father started 20 years ago and all the silk products were made locally in their workshop. Also the back room of the store showed some old machines and accessories for silk weaving that was good to check out. It is a good place to get local gifts.

Oh misère, déjà le temps de comprendre qu'on dit plus serre-tête mais headband (comme on dit plus chouchou mais "retourne dans ta province ploucasse" apparemment), une petite boutique super sympa, spécialisée dans ça justement, s'était ouverte dans mon quartier. La créatrice est a-do-rable. Elle a pas hésité à me montrer comment mettre le headband toute seule comme une grande et à me conseiller un de ses articles en soldes parce qu'il correspondait mieux à ce que je voulais que les autres (bon... du coup j'en ai acheté deux... Je suis faible). Elle vend aussi des petits bijoux qui, comme le reste, sont dans un mix cuir tout doux et/ou tissus imprimés. Alors une boutique pas snob, décorée super bien, où on peut trouver des cadeaux pour les copines, j'approuve à 100% !

Des bijoux, des sacs, de la papeterie, des accessoires de mode pour les cheveux, des chapeaux et même de la lingerie. En hivers, des gants, écharpes, bonnets, des pantoufles et en été des sandales, des maillots de bain et des paréos. Les prix ne sont pas vraiment donnés mais si vous allez sur leur site régulièrement, vous verriez qu'en ce moment il y a -25% sur toute la boutique. Pratique avant noël ! Et pour bien connaître, je peux vous assurer que ces offres ont lieu toute l'année. Alors soyez un peu patiente et vous aurez le fameux sac dont vous rêvez tant à 30 euros au lieu de 40 ! I waited a few minutes and looked around while waiting for someone to talk to me. Julien was the employee that ended up helping me and we had so much fun together! He got me the bag that I wanted, looked up the prices in US dollars too so I could see how they compared to euros. He also gave me the "tax free" forms that would ensure that I would be able to get money back from my purchase. The others stores that I had shopped at didn't tell me about this, I assume out of laziness, so I really appreciated that. Julien was a total sweetie and I wish the SAs at my local LV were half as great as he was. Will definitely return if and when I am ever in Lyon.

Not that…read moreI shop here a lot, or at all, but if I am there 15 minutes before closing time and the gates are halfway down - and some bouncer look-alike guy tells me through the gate that there is a problem with the cashier's system, and that's why they are closed for a bit (conveniently until they close at 7:00 p.m. anyway), while I was ready to put down a ridiculous amount of money for an ugly sack of a purse (NOT FOR ME - for a colleague who lives somewhere where it's even more expensive), then I am NOT HAPPY! Having worked in a luxury environment myself for a long time, there are ways to deal with it, i.e. have bouncer-guy stand outside - offer alternative - take a phone number - whatever. I live next door, it's no big deal, but this was Walmart service at a LV store - wait, Walmart has nice greeters outside... Grrrrrrr - thanks for making me fight my way through traffic!
