Beware... I have been going to Allanti School Of Hairstyling…read morefor the past 10 years to take my son to get a haircut. That has come to an end. I went there today with my son as usual for a special haircut that he wanted. They told me this is a job for some guy, I don't know his name but I guess he is an employee or perhaps the owner. It was at 4:30 and they close at 5. After waiting for an inconsiderate time, a guy came down from upstairs, he has long brown curly hair with a scruffy beard like look. He demanded the money first but in cash only. I did not have cash, only a card so told him how about you start since there is limited time and while he is cutting the hair I'll go to the bank and get cash. He was hesitant but agreed. I said to him why do you demand the money first what if my son is not happy, he said then we would make it right - a familiar common hair type of dispute excuse, but I didn't mind. So he started cutting and I went to the bank. I came back a few minutes later and looked through the window and saw he was cutting my son's hair, so I lit up a smoke before I went in. Right away a girl came to the door and demanded the money now. I said I'll be right in. Then the thug came out in a rage demanding the money before he finish the haircut. I said to him I'm leery about your approach. I can see through the window my son was putting his coat on to come out. I guess he must have told him he is not finishing the cut. NOW WE"RE ON THE SIDEWALK. I said to him what is the issue, do you think I'm going to rob you for $25. I said what do you think I'm here for? I want a service, I pulled the cash out of my pocket and said, you finish the cut and then I pay as usual. He then tried to grab the cash out of my hand while punching me in the stomach at the same time, neither was effective. I realized I was at an advantage as this guy was clearly intellectually limited. I said I'm going to charge you with assault, he ran around my car like a lunatic taking pictures. He said he's going to call the cops too. I called the cops, while he is ranting and raging on the sidewalk and parking lot. The cops told me to stay in the car with my son until they arrive. After a few minutes the area of the business is loaded with cops. I first told the cops what had happened and then they went in and talked. Of course the girls working there or I guess students all said there was no assault. I had no witness, so no charge. I then went to Haircutters where they finished the cut. I also found out that they are $5 dollars cheaper then Allanti School Of Hairstyling. Needless to say, I will never go back to Allanti. When you go there beware. It appears that your money takes priority for them and the haircut or client is not so important...beware.

Kept telling me what I wanted could not be achieved with one application. But he knew he had screwed up so all the excuses started to come up. Needless to say, I left the salon after having my hair bleached, and toned 3 different times and my hair was fried!!! I literally was in tears when I left. He had an assistant who was the one that apologized and he said nothing. Do not go there!!!!!!! Unless you want your hair to look like you have been practised on with a million colours. My hair went from my natural dark brown to being bleached to a gold/orange colour. After being toned, it brought down the gold to a lighter blonde, than toned again to a ash/grey, and toned again to my roots to a light brown and the bottom was grey, bluish, ash,blonde.... it was a hot mess!!!

I am really not one to leave a bad review. But I am so absolutely shocked by my experience at this…read moresalon. I won 2 gift certificates to get my haircut with a specific stylist. I called to book an appointment but was so happy to find out they could squeeze me in that day. I also found out this stylist had 25 years of experience and has been there since they opened - so I felt confident she could do what I wanted. To start my hair was quite long with my roots (dirty blonde) having grown about 10cm out that then went into a light/copper orange colour. I asked for my hair to be cut my shoulders and to blend coppers with blonde throughout my hair. I showed the stylist a few pictures of the exact hair I wanted. (picture below) She then suggested I blend my natural colour into it as well. I was a little hesitant but I trusted her opinion. We had a few moments where she asked me of a specific colour or technique that I said no to. I did not want white blonde in my hair and I wanted it all blended "Naturally" or "evenly".During this time she bragged about how healthy my hair was (relevant later). During this process she dropped a massive blob of highlighter onto my jeans which then stained them. When we finally got to the end and she had rinsed my hair - I started to cry. There was white blonde streaks with a dark brown/black and also just maroon/red colour throughout. There was no resemblance to what I had asked for and the streaking was horrible. It was carelessly done and did not look good.(I've attached pictures). Another stylist tried to help by putting red toner on it which only made it pink. After this, I said I just wanted her to finish cutting (that part seemed to go well) and blow dry and then I wanted to leave. She insisted I come back in two weeks and she will fix my hair because it is so unhealthy and damaged that the colour didn't sit right. Which completely contradicts everything she said before. (Got my hair looked at by someone else and its healthy). She then insisted the dark colour was my natural hair colour... my hair is dirty blonde. She then tried to get me to come to the colour room where we can "fix this" she said. But at this point I was so upset that I wanted to leave. I didn't feel comfortable with her touching my hair again. So we went to the reception desk and it took me another 45 minutes to get out of there. There had been a miscommunication about me being able to use both my certificates (Which they had said I could in the morning). During this time the stylist had been giving me death stares and insisting she did nothing wrong. I said I would pay for the haircut but not the colour. I also didn't want to get it fixed because I felt so uncomfortable there. The real MVP at this salon is the young lady with the short curly red hair. It was getting intense with my stylist at the front desk when this young lady walked by. I asked for her to come over because I was feeling uncomfortable. The stylist started to raise her voice and be nasty to this other staff. But this young lady remained polite and stood up for herself. She then took over and helped me sort out paying. During this time the other stylist kept coming back to give me glares. I'm sorry to leave this review but really I am in shock at her behaviour.
