Should you find that Group Heal alth, and specifically Dr. Kai Huang, is in your network of coverage, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I went in for my annual check-up, and have had to reestablish myself with a new practice every year for the last four because my doctor either retires or moves to another practice. So it is always the joy of answering all of the family history questions and getting to know a new doctor. It was a wonderful visit from start to finish. My appointment was at 8, I was in the exam room by 8:15, and I was on my way out by 9. The Dr. was attentive to my questions and concerns and just did a thorough check-up. Not only that, he made recommendations for my future visits and encouraged me to call him if things come up throughout the year. It was such a good experience in a time when you hear horror stories. I had radiation @ St Mary's Oncology Radiology with Dr Sharma for pain in my lower back & hip. I had no idea that the radiation was going to do so much damage to my hip! No one told me that at the end of my radiation txs I would need a hip replacement!! My hip was fine before the radiation! A few weeks later was when the pain really started & after 2-3 months it was unbearable!! Dr Gunzenhaeser - Orthopedic Surgeon told us that my hip was the worst hip he had ever seen & he didn't know I could walk with it! Two different times Christy helped by moving my surgery date & time forward, faxing my Physical Therapy orders & all of the other things that needed to be done quickly. Christy is very knowledgeable & she definitely goes above & beyond. If it wasn't for Christy's constant monitoring in my chart & checking in with me many times- my experience @ Beacon's wouldn't have been so smooth! When I did my own search, I found the Foot and Ankle Specialists. There were 3 locations in the Cincinnati area with many doctors available. I called and got an appointment within days. Within two weeks of that, I was having surgery! Everything moved so quickly and smoothly. At each appointment, I never had to wait. They make sure they stay on schedule and have enough people on staff. My specialist specifically was Dr. Loftus who was great! He was funny and made the experience seamless. They took great care of me before surgery, during surgery, and post surgery. I would highly recommend them if you have to have surgery, or just need a doctor, for your feet or ankle(s). My current symptoms were urgent to me and I could not get an appt elsewhere soon. I saw Dr Tadiparthi who opened up more appts. I wanted a female who could help me with GI symptoms overlapping my history of pelvic adhesions and pelvic floor disorder. I had quite a journey in the past as a senior getting help with pelvic issues. Seems Dr Tadiparthi had her mind made up before entering the room that there was no GI issue. I tried to explain how pelvic adhesions affected the bowels, but she didn't seem to care. Not GI, just being honest, she said. She tried to push prescription for an expensive med through Mark Cuban pharmacy. I declined, said I don't like prescription meds in general, but especially for guesswork. She said not to seek out medical care if I dont want to take medications. She is listed as women's health provider, but did not seem to care about my female health. I said I am seeing UroGyn soon, too. No response. I will continue on my journey to better health and quality of life.
