(breakfast) We were travelling back to Indy from a weekend in Covington, had a very expensive dinner at a very disappointing top of the City restaurant. Truly enjoyed Kennetts breakfast down home home made cooking as my break the bank dinner left me hungry. The servers here are so friendly and laid back, yet efficient, never an empty coffee cup. Food takes a bit longer than normal but It's WELL worth the wait!

I found this Speedway along U.S. highway 50--a busy highway 50. It's tough to enter or exit, and…read moreit's even more tough to go against the traffic--maybe that was just my luck! I liked this location because the diesel pumps were extra noticeable. These weren't pumps with gasoline, but just diesel fuel and they were green, so I didn't have to look for the yellow signs above the pumps that say "diesel". Things worked well from loyalty card to receipt. Inside, it wasn't bad either. The restroom wasn't quite as well maintained as I could hope, but they can't be in there 24 hours a day. I had some fun searching for the coffee/frappe machine. Very few of the company's stores are configured the same way, and since this was apparently Superamerica some time ago, it was modified to fit. The clerks seemed okay, but not extremely friendly. Oh, well.

I will just go to drive thru when she's there. I told her you have to ring them up as black and mild like everyone else does when they ring me out but she's very snarky and arrogant. She's the short brown haired lady that works in mornings that's always on the phone. Only reason they don't get 5 stars. Everyone else is super friendly and it's pretty clean. They're often cleaning up the parking lot and pumps.
