I'm still confused about what happened. I just went to Kangaroo Express for a froster which…read moreoriginally costs $0.99. She informed me it was $1.38. I said that's fine I'd go get the rest of the money from my car. I left the froster and $1.25 with her. I came back in and there were a few people in front of me. I was prepared to wait patiently while she served her customers. When she saw me, she said she took care of it and motioned for me to get the drink. I gave her $0.50 which she took. Assuming I'd heard wrong, I returned home. My brother said the frosters are $1.38 but they are certainly not $1.75. I was very surprised and disappointed they would overcharge me. It's not that much, but I'm not sure I can trust this store anymore. In another incident, my mom dropped her credit card in the parking lot. It didn't occur to us it might be there until we got home. I thought I would call to check. The cashier answered and said someone did try to turn the card into her. They said they found it outside, but she wouldn't take it. So the customer left with the card. This is unusual to me. I believe it would've been safer with the store than a stranger. The customer could have maxed out the card. I'm not sure I understand this method of doing business. I used to stop at Kangaroo Express for everything (snacks, drinks, pickles, etc.) I was a devoted customer. I loved the frosters, but I can give them up. In light of the recent treatment, I have decided not to return to Kangaroo Express. I will be taking my business to Chevron or Shell.
