Not only that, but they now offer a greater range of cooked dishes and combination packs. The fishmarket has always been part of the centre but it now has a new life as more people use it. Before it was in a quiet part of the centre, now it is next to the butcher and opposite Coles. The choice is really good and they will fillet the fish for you if required. At lunch time they serve hot fish and chips, prawns, crabs claws, scallops and calamari. They are very generous with their serving size. Sometimes when I have finished my shopping I will stop and buy something to bring home and eat. Definitely a 9/10!

They're pre-rolled, so you just have to fry them up (*without* oil, unless you want to clog an artery), and they just melt in your mouth, it's amazing. Besides which, they sell all kinds of little Indian snacks, like murukku, or namkeen, or papad. Even aam papad! Even if you're not Indian, I would recommend this shop. It's full of all the things you'd find in an authentic Indian snackbar.

So when I moved here, and saw things like Caramel Popcorn and Chocolate Popcorn and other sweet varieties, I admit I threw up a little in my mouth. It was unspeakably gross to me. "Crazy white people", I thought to myself. Then, one day, I was tricked into trying the caramel variety, and what do you know, it didn't actually send me into convulsions of disgust! It was surprisingly pretty nice, in a way. So I had some more.. and pretty soon, I got used to it, and started craving more. That's where Kernels came in! The shop I had previously averted my gaze from with contempt and disgust now became favourite destination. They have every flavour you would care to sample, and it's not even remotely expensive. I love Popcorn immensely and it is the first snack I reach for when I'm hungry. It's probably weird but I can have Popcorn for brekkie too! At Kernels Popcorn, you can buy popcorn in a variety of flavours. Sweet and savoury popcorns are available. I like the salted and caramel popcorns a lot. It's made fresh and you can taste the flavours before making a purchase. I take home a different flavour every time. I wish I could buy it everyday! Thank you, thank you, thank you kernels!
