The pumps were in like new condition. although once I finished pumping my gas and chose the "yes" option when prompted for a receipt all I got was a grinding noise and no paper appeared, it wasn't so important to me that I was going to walk across the parking lot and go inside to get one, beside the attendant was outside and I didn't feel the need to interrupt his smoke. The prices here are competitive which was a little surprising being it's so remote and since there aren't any competitors for miles I appreciate they weren't gouging. I mean right outside in front of the store sitting on the table smoking away.... another employee brings her newborn baby to work everyday and pumps breast milk while handling the food service area where they serve chicken along side her boyfriend who has the worst hygiene that is not even employed but will handle the food as well with no gloves coming from outside smoking cigarette. the store owner is well aware of what goes on but does nothing about it. he knows about the drug dealing in the parking lot heck how could he not? there are 19 cameras. As well as being told several times. there have been number of complaints about the store and the conditions of the store. The food service area needs the health dept called. They have flies in the case where the food is stored and rats have even been seen coming from under the fryer area. It's a shame to see our local store be a complete shit show... I recently went on a day trip to this Buc-ee's location - at least 1 hr drive each way. I honestly…read morethought I had been to this location before, but I guess not. This was on a Sunday, and both the lot and store were busy as an angry beehive. It took me maybe 20 minutes to get gas due to the lines and waiting...and some waiting because some people parked at the pump and then went inside to "shop first" as the gas at Buc-ee's is pay-at pump only. Afterwards, I parked in a normal space and went inside to peruse the store. After some fun window shopping through the clothing, home goods, etc. I purchased some food. My objective was to spend my gift card, and I already knew that I wanted to get some of that famous brisket. I ended up with brisket, some spicy garlic jerky and a beverage from the cooler section. I'm still amazed that I can easily spend 1.5-2 hours in a gas station. I still enjoy perusing through a Buc-ee's and hope the novelty never wears off.
