They go above and beyond to make your experience here convenient and relaxing. We were welcomed with a nice refreshing, nonalcoholic drink. The spa experience is wonderful. The hotel comes equipped with both wet and dry saunas and relaxation room. The large pool and jacuzzi are both at perfect temperatures. The jacuzzi transitions from indoors to outdoors. The hotel room was also very nice. We were welcomed with fruits, snacks, and champagne. I enjoyed waking up to the morning view everyday. The breakfast is outstanding.

It's rated as a 4 star but I would go lower. We came to Cortina to ski and it's been "non bene"…read more This is NOT a skier's hotel. No transportation to slopes from hotel. Must take buses. As I am struggling to walk back to hotel holding ski equipment and exhausted, the bellhop quickly ducks out of sight to avoid getting the door for me. The ladies at the spa are not friendly and visibly stare you up and down. Food is good, but it's Italy... food is good everywhere. Cortina is extremely far from any of the ski slopes, the buses are frustrating, and not linked with slopes well. If you want to ski, don't bother coming to Cortina.

The course itself is a 9 hole course and well maintained. It is open throughout the summer to members and non-members and the holes are challenging with spectacular scenery. It isn't cheap and last time I played it cost about EUR45 euros for 9 holes but it is worth doing as a one off just for the views and the feeling of playing golf somewhere completely different. Watch out for the 8th hole though which is a par 3 from an isolated tee off across a ravine to the green, oh and for that matter the 9th hole as well which tends to drag your ball into the nearby lake.

The staff was very friendly and helped you on and off the boat if needed.
