I've since moved to another state, but I wish I could still see her! Since day one, Nina always put my concerns first. She always made me feel welcome, and comfortable while I was in her office. Instead of talking AT me, she talked TO me. It is hard to find someone like that anymore. She was one of the only providers that I actually looked forward to seeing and talking to, which is a huge thing when visiting a psychiatrist, because talking about past traumas can make you very vulnerable. She explained things to me very well, and started me on the right treatment plan. Throughout the years, she worked with me constantly, if medicines didn't work for me, she'd tweak my dose up or down, and/or let me try a new medication if I needed it. She let me make most decisions for myself, and I appreciate that because I know my body and I know what is and what isn't working for me. I miss her so much, she's truly one of the best practitioners I've ever seen!
