Hot food also takes FOREVER to come out-- unless you're ordering thali or dessert; today I ordered just paneer paratha and tell me why it took 20 minutes. There was only one other customer but other than that it was completely dead when I ordered. Now I've only ever purchased takeout from here so I can't speak for dine in experience but the same employees who work at the counter are the same ones I see waiting tables so one can imagine how service might be in that setting. It's a shame because the restaurant is so vibrant and beautiful, and the food is BOMB but the staff just kind of ruins the vibe. The waitress was very friendly and the food was served hot and quick. I have to watch what I eat because of celiac disease. I have to eat a gluten free diet. There were a lot of options for me to choose from. I typically skip starches so i did not have any naan or rice. The food was excellent but for the price, the portions were much smaller than what I am used to. The meal was well over $30 for me to order two dishes. The food did not fill the plate. The curry chicken was well above par for most restaurants thanks to an excellent sauce, and the Dahl was good, but I would have been enjoyed it more had it been a little thicker. I enjoyed the meal. I will be back.
