Super easy to get tokens too ($20 gets you 110, which lasts a while since old-school games are just 1 token and newer ones run 2-4). I had a great time on Burgertime and pinball--though I wish they had the Addams Family, Millionaire was still a fun one. Beyond the arcade, they've got indoor mini golf, bowling, and even a tavern, so there's something for everyone, kids and adults alike. This place is fantastic and I'll definitely be back. Pro tip: make sure to head across the street to 603 Sweets after--perfect way to end the day.

We visited Funspot on a Saturday and was expecting a massive crowd. Even though the parking lot was pretty full, we were pleasantly surprised at how huge the place was, so the crowd was spread throughout the facility and we didn't really have to wait to play any games. This place is 3 stories and it's easy to get lost. But there's something for everyone: a huge selection of playable classics and pinball machines (which doubles as a museum), candlepin and regular bowling, indoor mini golf, a silly little bumper car area for the younger kids, plenty of newer digital arcade games, shooters, etc, skeeball, slot machines, a tavern, a snack bar, a party room, and so much more. What I want to really highlight here is the affordability: it took 4 of us 2 hours to spend our first $20. That's crazy! We could never get away with that at any arcade I've been to lately. A lot of the games, especially the classics, only take one or two tokens, and you get 110 tokens per $20. They give out those classic paper tickets which is a slight inconvenience but worth it for the nostalgia factor. The snack bar has everything you need - pizza, hot dogs, soda, nachos, etc - even fresh fruit, which was awesome! And it's all totally affordable. Also - it's completely free to rent a party table here which, again, is unheard of! What else? Tons of parking. Easily accessible. Free lockers for your stuff. Bowling deals on weekdays and Sundays. Tons of token and ticket machines throughout, on every level. Cash bingo I think? Friendly and helpful staff. Sooooo much history, like a museum that you can play in. Yes, this place is old... That's the point! You can spend all day here without breaking the bank, and come out with a smile on your face and a new appreciation for classic arcades. Take the drive! Bring the kids! At no time did she sanitize the tables or balls. We were here for 3 hrs and in that time there was a family before us 3 lanes to our right. They left and the girl assigned that lane again. Then those people left and she gave that same lane to another group. Never once cleaned the table or lanes. Also she never enforced the mask policy to a couple of people even though it was obvious they knew they should. She told us they didn't need the mask while they are in the lane even though the manager told us the week before we had to. She was either to lazy to approach them or intimidated. Side note, when she works you only can get pizza and beer. Tried calling before we got there to see who was working but got a recording.

I can't get it down in DC now where they only have big ball bowling. There are lots of lanes that are well maintained, plenty of space to sit at each lane, and of course the very classic graphics for the scoring screens. There were no issues with the mechanics either. We didn't order food, but it was so easy to get our shoes. There seemed to be a ton of other activities available, including arcade games. We had such a blast! My friends live down the street, we'll absolutely be back when I see my friends.

The staff was…read morereally polite and helpful, and I was surprised to find out that their bar food was actually delicious and the price was average. We bought the mozarella sticks and sweet potato and again thought they were great. The lanes, balls and shoes were a little outdated and worn down but still did the trick. The bar had a decent selection of beer, and this bowling alley also had a little pool and arcade area.

The facilities at the Rutland Bowlerama were superlative in every way. There were flashy animations on the screen after each shot. The restrooms were clean and respectable. Bowling shoe rental is $2, and each round is $3.50 per person. What a steal! I like that there is no deposit required for bowling shoes--this bowlerama has obviously not experienced the bowling shoe theft that was so devastating in my hometown. Vermonters clearly don't steal stuff, and that makes them cool. Go bowling, and love it!

We didn't expect to hit our normal averages because we didn't have our personal balls or shoes. But how bad could we do? I was down over 70 pins per string. Well, since the balls all have exceptionally small holes, expect 16 lbs or more, I had to go up 4 lbs from my usual to find anything I could even use. And I feel the ball was off some how as my shots all seemed to curve to the right, like it or not. Scoring system was adequate but seems a bit antiquated. Would not recommend and will not return. $35 for worn shoes (my wife's were especially bad and they had none better when asked) and wonky balls that were too heavy unless you're a kid.

We picked the Brattleboro Bowl because The Brattleboro Reformer, the local news paper, just published their "readers choice best of Brattleboro" compitition winners, a contest that is held yearly so that locals can give visitors a feel for the real Brattleboro. Well, anyways, in this competition, the best bartender space was occupied by a Vic Muscat who bartended at the brattleboro bowl; therefore we came to visit the best bartender and see what he was all about. The service that we recieved was above and beyond, and we where tended to in a friendly and welcoming environment. I personally thought that the bar is an absolutely wonderful upgrade to the bowling alley, and can just imagine how nice and convienent it is for a girl to get a cocktail with her friends, or even keeping a close eye while the kids enjoy themselves and keep themselves occupied bowling and playing in the arcade. Overall, great establishment, absolutely amazing staff, and a great time.
