Well what I got was great service. The lady at the front is responsible for cleaning the rooms too. Everyday my room was serviced with fresh towels (which you don't see at every hotel these days). The room was cozy, and the heater worked well. The bed was fantastic and I got great sleep each night. The room is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and lotion dispensers. Room had a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and direct tv. Also had an iron and ironing board which I needed. There was plenty of lighting too. The lighting was set up so you can get the light level you want.

The rooms are clean, and the cleaning service does a thorough job daily, write down to folding fresh bath towels into triangles each day. Each room has recently been renovated, and they look and feel contemporary. Our room has a mini fridge and a microwave, as well as outlets throughout the room with USB and USB-C ports available at our bedside tables and at a writing table. Also a large, HD TV with satellite HBO and other movie stations as well. Breakfast is good. Fresh bagels, muffins, orange juice, yogurt, cereal with milk, fresh fruit, oatmeal, and more. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and receptive anything you might need. If you run out of something, they have it for you. The hotel is also centrally located between Eddyville and Kuttawa, conveniently close to the Land Between the Lakes and Lake Barkley & Kentucky Lake. Grand Rivers is only about 15 minutes away. This hotel is really a perfect place to stay for a getaway to the lake region. My wife and I got our room last minute over the holiday, and our expectations were pretty low. But this place exceeded -- went above and beyond --anything we could've hoped for. We will be repeat customers in the future. No question about it. Highly recommended.

I would recommend as a last resort, all of the rooms were taken around us. No coffee in the room cold breakfast only and the muffins are so dry you couldn't eat them. Unfortunately, you can no longer count on Wyndham properties to be decent enough to stay in.

Four of us shared a room with 2 double beds and we each paid $17. The owners were very nice and accommodating when we checked in. The room itself was clean...we did mattress checks for bedbugs (look along seam-lines) and saw that they used mattress protectors! The sheets themselves seemed clean with a few washed-in stains, but we (not knowing what we'd find) had brought our own sheets, pillows, and blankets. The room had a TV, wifi, and a mini refrigerator, as well as an AC unit that worked very well on a 95 degree day! The bathroom was not in the best condition...there was definitely visible scum and grime in the caulking. Even though this motel is right off the highway, there is not a lot of noise at night from it since Princeton is a small town. There is a complimentary breakfast in the AM, (few options: biscuits, cereal, bananas). & there are also a few fast food places right down the road. ABVI is definitely not the Ritz, but for $17 each, we did not mind our stay here! If you are planning on using the shower, I'd suggest bringing shower shoes.
