But if you are looking for value, I would give the Dollar General down the street a visit. The various items sold here consist of dog products, toiletries, boiled peanuts, baked goods, Icees, sodas, friend chicken, and Hunt Brothers Pizza. Not to mention that this place has a great restroom. Overall, if you are traveling or just live nearby, I highly recommend that you give this place a visit.

Although I had missed the much anticipated Grand Opening, I saw the parking lot was completely full that day & into the night. I love the warehouse style high ceilings that this Kroger has with a Starbucks inside as well as an area with tables and chairs to enjoy your coffee or a bite to eat from the deli! Guess that is what makes it a Marketplace and stand out from the other Krogers. The design makes the place seem larger than it actually is. I enjoyed the spaciousness, especially in the produce section making it easy to maneuver with a cart. It is welcoming as you first walk inside. The kid-sized carts are cute, but they have only a few available. My little one was disappointed as they were all in use during our visit. No fun car-themed carts either. I grabbed lunch to go with my groceries. Quick stop on the way home after church, but the aroma of just finished chicken only increased my hunger. My little one kept asking for a piece saying how good the fried chicken smelled all the way to the checkout line! Haha. Next time, I'm ordering the savory baked chicken! Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. I walked down most aisles, but only grabbed one hand-carry basket full of groceries. Many options of grocery items, pharmaceuticals, home goods, including a good selection of wines, flower bouquets / arrangements and some articles of clothing. As the first reviewer stated, this Kroger really is a one-stop shop! I could have easily spent hours shopping there, if I went through every single aisle! The meat counters are often stocked well and have items you would not find anywhere else. The staff is always willing to help me locate something, which is the only issue I have with the store. The set up is strange in a way I can't really describe. Compared to other grocers' certain items are usually easily locate because of what they are, here I have to search for things. Better signage may help, but unsure what the real solution would be. It is apparent this store needs and overhaul/upgrade, but that doesn't take away from the staff and prices that help when its needed.
