An air of artificiality hangs about the whole Salt Village and this resort does nothing to dispel it. This must be what it was like to be a computer chip in a 1980s PC.
Now there is an axiom that this resort lives up to. The bigger the foyer--the smaller the rooms.
In fact, our room was one of those 'hotel rooms' you get by splitting a suite or apartment in two. Nice big bathroom, but no living space. Only room for a bed-side table on one side of the bed.
It is always a bad sign when your internal furniture is in fact outdoor furniture repurposed. So forget about even one of you sitting in a comfy chair and reading a book. The chrome legs on the actual outdoor chairs on the small balcony were already rusty.
The apartments seem to be more roomy, but all we saw were pictures of them.
Breakfast is in a large outdoor setting and a bit of chaos if it rains, as it did when we were there.
So, when you see a hot deal at this place. Take into account that the comfort level may be low and staying multiple days may not a good idea. read more
