I guess if you have no job and no life and like…read moregetting canceled 24 hours before the first appt that you booked 6 weeks in advance then this is the place for you. I scheduled my entire week around this appointment that I booked weeks ago all for nothing!!!! Those of us with jobs who can't make 10 AM appts or accept calls while at work need to look elsewhere. This place is an absolute joke and complete waste of time and they give zero fks about you, your time, and your injuries. I've had to do several rounds of physical therapy and never was it so incredibly difficult to get scheduled. I moved out here a few years ago and have a work-related injury and the doctor found this place as it was close to my home. I always went to Vibrant Care before and had great providers with flexible scheduling and genuinely cared about my wellbeing. At this place you are just a number and oh well if you don't know all their secret internal policies that make you confirm the appointment you already confirmed LOL!!!! Please save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

She repeated 11, I repeated it back to her. Few hours later, I got a text saying my appointment was at 11:30. So what is it? I called the office, was put on hold, I gave up. Called back several times with the same results. No one ever answered. I went to the website, filled out their form, asking what time is my appointment? Is it 11:00 or 11 :30? No one ever got back to me.

So, time passed, I went up a few times to check how long it would be, and I was given excuse after excuse. First, they could not find his chart, etc. I think I stayed out of morbid curiosity to see how long it would take to be seen. This is the most unorganized office I have ever seen...ever!! If you have any option other than this office, I would take it. I know there are good and bad days...I worked in the medical field as an RN. I would not feel so strongly about this office were it not for five other patients I saw mistreated while we were waiting. This is clearly not just a one time occurrence, but a general lack of ability and organization.

What??? I'm wondering if the doctor knows that their office staff is turning away patients. That must be common there and she would not schedule an appt for me. Oh well...money talks and my business is going elsewhere. I hope Dr. Yamada reads this and educates his staff to accept all patients with insurance to pay.Who knows...I might have continued my business with him and brought in my family later. Especially when I've been waiting for an appointment for two months, TWO MONTHS for Golden Bear to contact me and set an appointment from my doctor's referral. Funny side note: I was told by a GB employee, that faxing a referral to GBPT goes to their main office and not all referrals get to the location(s) they need to go. They said that management does not care enough to address this problem. So the patient gets the short end of the stick and no help. Back to the location; I asked can I be seen now, I'm here, I'll be quick, please I just need a note from the therapist to qualify for surgery, he was standing there looking at me, smirking, not doing anything, can we try, please?! But no...live with your excruciating pain, don't sleep, don't have a normal life, just come back in 19 days. What a joke! From scheduling, to management, to a lack of being able to get a fax to the office you need to go to... one more piece of our health care system that is broken... pathetic.

Our first initial meeting to assess the issue and meet the therapist went as expected. No…read morecomplaints or highlights. Our first time actually doing the PT was disappointing. My 9 year old was escorted to each station and then after she was told what to do the therapist walked away. She never had anyone correct her or encourage her that she was doing it right. I actually had to step in with my limited PT knowledge to coach her through the motions. Then when I tried to book her future appointments the availability was non existent. She was only able to get one appointment every two weeks. With physical therapy constancy is key and we weren't getting that. We are back today and I am pleasantly surprised at the experience. Bre seems to genuinely care about the progress and has stayed with my 9 year old correcting and encouraging the whole time. I hope future appointments are more like this.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with HealthyU has been incredibly frustrating…read more I established care with HealthyU and needed a referral to a GI specialist for ongoing treatment. The referral process took so long that, by the time I followed up, I called the office they referred me to and found out they had no idea who the doctor on my referral was. Nobody there recognized the name, so I was left trying to figure everything out on my own and had to schedule my own appointment. I then established care with a new primary care provider elsewhere, and they referred me to the correct GI department the very same day. Meanwhile, HealthyU still hasn't updated my referral, and I'm the one making calls and coordinating my own care. I need an infusion by August 4, yet there has been no sense of urgency or communication. Patients shouldn't have to do the office's job just to receive the care they need. On top of that, we had a scheduled appointment, arrived 20 minutes early, and still waited over an hour to be seen. The phone line takes an extremely long time to get through, making it difficult to get updates or speak with someone. To make matters worse, the woman at the front desk was rude and unhelpful.
