Their beef is just wonderful, the carpaccio, tartare, and steaks are to die for. Even their simple dish of noodles and cabbage was beautifully executed. When we went they had a keg of Augustiner dark and white beer that was left over from the Munich Oktoberfest, and a lovely on tap Weiss beer that was one of the best in town. The waiters were great, spoke quite decent English. There was a live band as well that played really well and even though we were at the next table, it was a normal volume and we could still have a conversation about how good the beer and food was.

The pizza place was recommended by the hotel, and it was a short 10 minute walk from the center of the town. The pizza was great, but this restaurant was not flexible with their order. You could not ordered half X and half Y in the same pizza. Price was fair and certainly wasn't a tourist trap.
