Scum bag dealership... who threw every excuse they could. Scheduled a battery replacement service for $259.95 online that included the battery and labor charges all in one. This ACDelco gold battery cost $175 pretty standard at most dealerships to include the Lafayette GMC. The additional $85 packed into this service is the labor fees and installation costs FOR A BATTERY install. We agreed to pay that knowing $85 is quite a large cost associated with a battery install when most places will install the battery completely for free (would have walked out the door paying $175+tax). We were willing to pay additional money to have a "reputable" dealership.. or so we thought.. install the battery and do any additional simple reset steps that sometimes are needed. This is where it gets bad. After scheduling a service online for $259.95 + a coupon for $10 off a service, my wife went into the easy appointment. It was already booked and selected and agreed on the pricing. However, when they saw a pregnant woman who needed to get to work in a timely manner (it took them 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to our scheduled appointment for a battery to be replaced)... they nickel and dimed the hell out of her. Charging a labor fee on top of the $85 labor already baked into the battery service... not giving her the $10 coupon we selected when we scheduled the appointment... and charging a petty "shop supplies" fee for a battery replacement. When she got home, I immediately called the dealership to inquire why everything was so off and wrong. Adam's reply was "we are eating the cost of the labor and the battery". I immediately called him out on that as I had already looked up the price of the batteries AND called the Lafayette GMC to confirm that battery was $175 without installation. When Adam was called out, he said "there's nothing we can do". By doing so, the Delphi Mann City GMC committed false advertising on the price of the service we scheduled AND then further false advertised the $10 discount we applied and then further degenerately charged labor fees on top of and already high $85 shop charge to install a car battery that is under the hood... read more

Stopped in on Saturday, on Memorial weekend as we're in the market for a second car. We thought they were closed as there were no signs of life after walking around the lot for a while, with no offers of help. We went to the door to find people actually inside. We greeted the receptionist and asked if anyone was able to help us with some pricing . She calls someone who surfaces from an office with a piece of paper. With prices on it. Waits for us to tell him what we were curious about and reads off his price (horribly inflated).. Uh, geez guy, thanks for your "help". We'll be heading to Lafayette now, where we get real sales people that take an interest. This was the 3rd small town car lot that couldn't be bothered to get off their lazy butts and walk outside to show us around. We found just what we needed in good Ole Lafayette! We seriously cannot boast enough about Mann Chevrolet!! Following a super disappointing viewing near Indianapolis, we decided to give the Silverado 3500HD search one last go before we commited to our 3.5hr return to Northern IL. Luckily, we stumbled across Mann Chevrolet and it just so happened to be a few minutes to the east of our route home. We are so very grateful things panned out they way they did. For starters, beautiful inventory, super clean facility. Usually places freak me out on a germ level, however- they're impressively immaculate. Waiting room, toy room, snack area, restrooms, offices, everything is immaculate and you can feel the pride they take in their establishment, as they should! That genuine, yet rare, small town service, they have it. There is no wasting your time, they're honest, personable... literally the sales personnel we hope for when purchasing a vehicle. Jeff treated our boys like his our grandkids, which really helped us get through the process with 2 under 5. He was incredibly helpful, swift and an overall joy to work with. Trustworthy!! We are so very happy with our purchase and cannot thank Jeff enough for his time, help and sincerity.  We should have gotten the name of the gentleman who worked up our paperwork, because he was just as wonderful, honest and quick! He even caught an error in the interest agreement and fixed it immediately. They washed the truck and even gave us a few gallons of fuel as a thank you/to get us back home (Thank you service gentleman!! Also- a wonderful and kind staff member!) We are very grateful to have had things work out the way they did because we came home with a rig that will do us very well for our family and our young, growing pumpkin farm.
